The price/quality ratio is not great. The kitchen of Restaurant Akelare is a bit boring, for example the Foie Gras is nice, but if the liver is not cleaned properly, it is not nice to eat. The problem is that you have to point out the negatives on the spot, but you don't want to spoil your evening, the service in the restaurant is perfect.

El hotel es algo que merece la pena el esfuerzo económico que para muchas familias puede llegar a suponer. Las instalaciones excelentes, el SPA genial, la habitación al detalle, el restaurante, los jardines.......todo es una maravilla y si además el tiempo acompaña, puedes estar tomando una copa viendo Getaria de fondo y al cielo confundirse con el mar. Pero si hay algo a destacar sobre todo esto, es el personal del hotel y los chicos de la cocteleria, es algo a lo que debieran aspirar muchos otros negocios. Se desviven en que sea una experiencia inolvidable, en que no tengas otra cosa que pensar mas que en disfrutar, personal con muchas ganas de agradar y poder ayudarte. Hay que empezar a ahorra para poder volver algun dia.

A very nice hotel...expensive...outside San Sebastian...4 km Very modern, very zen, very beautiful view Still missing a swimming pool or swimming lane!!!! A breakfast, not a buffet, but what is served on request equals or exceeds a buffet. A perfect start to the day every time THANK YOU to….😘 Itziar 😘 for having appreciated all our breakfasts with his kindness, servitude, competence and advice. If I could have, I would have taken it in my suitcases to be there for all my breakfasts!!! Thanks also to MIke…the old guy!! For his kindness and his perfect French. This is also what makes a good stay a success, even if a hotel is beautiful. For the director, I tried to get in touch via Mike the Younger!! but she was still missing subscribers!!! We did not try the 3***

What a beautiful hotel! Very modern, great service (our concierge who showed us around was fab) and what gorgeous rooms. Floor to ceiling windows and amazing views, dressing gowns that actually fit and lovely quiet air conditioning. We absolutely loved our 2 day stay here. The michelin restaurant was a slightly different matter mind ....

Beautiful hotel which enjoys a splendid view of the ocean and the Spanish Basque countryside. The architecture of this hotel located on a cliff fits well into the landscape, the decor of the rooms and the interior of the hotel is sober, chic and cold. It is a comfortable place but which is not very warm. We spent three nights there and despite the cold environment we had a very pleasant stay favored by the calm and serenity of the place. The staff is courteous and attentive. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant: Espazio Oteiza, good cuisine and quality products. Very varied breakfast, but not always of quality (bread which did not seem to be fresh, same for certain pastries)
