Lovely mountain view from the family room on the first floor, nice bedroom, and delicious freshly-baked croissants for breakfast. One lovely girl on reception, but a really rude girl on the morning of August 27th. We couldn't find the room key (a real key, oddly, instead of a swipe card) so assumed it was still in our room. We are unlikely to return to Sardinia (so many places to go), much less Hotel Bonsai, so were surprised to see the hotel receptionist drive up to the to the airport parcheggio bustop, asking us rudely to check our bags for the key or else we would have to pay 50 euro. We were very stressed already as my online bank account had been hacked and 3700 was missing, which thank goodness I have since recouped from my bank - careful of paying with debit cards in beach restaurants peeps - cash is king ! We did find the old-fashioned-key in my sister's bag, so that was our silly mistake...However, this receptionist's attitude was not acceptable: it was suggestive that we were criminally stealing a 'key' to a hotel room to which neither of us will never, ever return. 'Grazie' she then said peremptorily, while snapping the key out of my sister's hand. This left such a sour taste in our mouths, after spending so much money for a short holiday in Hotel Bonsai. Good luck to her growing more kind-hearted, like her lovely female colleague in the reception of Hotel Bonsai. Otherwise, this review would be 3-star.

Struttura stupenda,personale sempre gentile e disponibile in ogni nostra richiesta,niente è lasciato al caso, bellissima anche l'idea di offrire una piscina con una piccola palestra tutto gratis,le camere sono bellissime ,la colazione impeccabile,lo consiglio vivamente,in un momento per me non particolarmente semplice mi sono sentito come a casa ogni giorno,torneremo sicuramente,grazie di cuore a tutti il personale

Ho appena soggiornato in questo hotel molto carino e pulito . Quello che colpisce è la grande gentilezza, professionalità è disponibilità del personale sempre attento e gentile come ha dimostrato, ad esempio , Anna Laura fornendomi immediatamente un altro cuscino in quanto quelli in camera per me erano un po’ duri . Ci sono , a mio avviso , solo due nei : la distanza dal mare ,(circa 2 Km che con il ritorno sono quasi 4 e sotto il solleone pesano ) e il fatto che se l’ultimo giorno dopo il check out vuoi fare una doccia tornando dal mare , ti chiedono 15 euro a testa , cifra veramente esagerata . Tanto vale se proprio vuoi far pagare il cliente , mettere una doccia a gettone , sarebbe più onesto . Forse sarò stata sempre fortunata ma non mi era mai capitato in nessun hotel che mi venisse chiesta tale cifra e viaggio tantissimo.

Siamo stati in questo albergo 3 giorni, abbiamo prenotato la camera più bella che loro potevano darci ovvero la family, perché qui non esistono suite. Purtroppo non siamo stati sorpresi piacevolmente… Lo staff e il personale molto gentile e disponibile, ma l’hotel risulta vecchio e non seguito, la nostra camera si presentava con un arredamento che imitava in modo scarso l’arredamento sardo, mobili di scarsa qualità e messi così qua e là.. la nostra stanza era molto grande ma non arredata in maniera corretta e piacevole. Stanza rumorosa, perché tutte le mattine si viene svegliati dalla macchina della nettezza urbana, con 10 minuti di rumori assordanti. Entra tanta luce (dai lati) perché le tende non sono totalmente oscuranti e non c’è doppio bastone. Bagno molto scarno vecchio e con segni di usura, la nostra maniglia della porta del bagno era praticamente a penzoloni e non era presente neanche la chiave. Doccia molto piccola, con scorrevole in plastica che non si chiude completamente. Tende sporche e macchiate, pezzi mancanti di arredamento nel bagno (forse rotti e mai aggiustati) Per il prezzo che abbiamo speso ci aspettavamo molto ma molto di più. Ottima e abbondante la colazione.

Abbiamo passato una fantastica settimana presso l'Hotel Bonsai di San Teodoro. La struttura è ben tenuta e pulitissima. Posizione centralissima, non molto distante dalla Cinta (raggiungibile a piedi in 15 min). Buona la colazione. Consigliatissimo

Ottimo rapporto prezzo qualità . L’ambiente è familiare , albergo tranquillo e ben frequentato . Personale gentile e attento . Buona la colazione con i dolci preparati dalla titolare . L’albergo è vicino al centro . Per andare alla spiaggia ci muovevano in moto .

I stayed a week in this hotel located 5 minutes from the center and 15 minutes walk from La Cinta beach, equipped with parking, swimming pool and gym. The rooms are large and with simple furnishings, the bathroom is a little small and in need of modernisation, however functional. Excellent cleanliness everywhere and staff always available. The varied breakfast is plentiful and with quality products. Therefore a hotel to be recommended especially if you want to be independent and do what you want during the day.

Very nice hotel and very kind staff. Strategic location close to the center and 5 minutes from the beautiful La Cinta beach. Comfortable rooms and nice bathroom. Everything very clean. Also swimming pool. They also explain well where to go to the beach. Highly recommended

Hotel, sleep and breakfast, very welcoming, nice spacious room, with a nice bathroom. Very clean. Abundant, varied and quality breakfast. They booked 2 excursions for us, one by dinghy TAVOLARA E MOLARA and one by boat to visit MADDALENA. Absolutely not to be missed. Furthermore, the hotel has a beautiful swimming pool.
