Hotel correct

We stopped for the night because we could not find anything else. The people that run this hotel are not nice at all. I had no hot water in my room. I walked up to her to ask her about the water and she yelled at me “ I’m suppose to be home right now” They don’t care and don’t clean the rooms. Picture of dirty toilet attached that has not been cleaned in months. Go somewhere else if you can.

Our first choice to stay in Cuba was totally booked a couple of months in advance, so we chose this little motel for a four-night stay. There are two sections to this motel, each on opposite sides of the main road through town. We stayed in a room across the highway from the motel office and sign. Part of the building on our side, where perhaps an office had been, was deserted. Our room was small but adequate, everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We could park right outside. The toilet was loose at the base (but not leaking) so whenever you sat down, it would move. There’s a little park at the end of the building, with picnic tables and grills. Overall, it was adequate but nothing more than that. Judging from the photos here, it appears some of the rooms have been remodeled. Ours was not one of them.

The Frontier Motel in Cuba, New Mexico, offers a straightforward and comfortable stay. It boasts all necessary amenities, including a full kitchen, which is a great convenience for longer stays or families. While the decor may be slightly dated, the rooms are impeccably clean and the atmosphere is pleasantly quiet. The staff are friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. Also the reason for 4/5, we were very late in arriving, well after the office had closed. I forget the name of the kind woman that called but she went out of her way to make sure we had a place to rest after a very long day. Kindness such as that is rare these days, and sure goes a long way in the service industry. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with essential comforts, the Frontier Motel is a solid choice in Cuba.

Older motel. Our room had been renovated and was nice enough. Comfy bed, fluffy towels, fridge, micro, coffee maker, spacious. A/C is an evaporative cooler, not refrigerated air. No breakfast and NO ice.
