Hotels Near Lords Beach in Sandy Bay

Stayed here for 2 nights. The bunk house is conveniently located at battery point and a walking distance from Salamanca place. Although the bathroom are shared, there are quite a few bathroom available to use.

I don't know why Ctrip's price list does not include breakfast. Also add 50 more knives. The hotel said that the room was full of breakfast. I don't know if Ctrip wants to collect the difference or what. Five stars praised the hotel, the environment is very good. Same as the picture. Ctrip bad review.

Little bit dated. Booked through Qantas Hotels and somehow was upgraded. ( No requested room available? do not know.) Water shower deluge head is great. Plenty of towels washers etc. The body wash and shampoo bottles are squeeze to actuate, sounds simple doesn't it? Mattress very comfy. Pillow a little firm for me but I did have the choice of 5! You get a kettle and that's it. Fridge opens one way, cupboard door opens opposite way. Not user friendly. Mis mash of cups. No knife or fork. Had to book for a couple of nights the next week but was an extra 50 an night. Thought that was a bit unnecessary for a returning client booking the same room. We had two windy nights and the sliding door widows rattling was enough to keep you awake. Need to be wedged. Location to town. Excellent, walking distance.

A hotel where Muming came to live, the room was large, there was a refrigerator inside, there was a lot of food in it, all were paid for consumption, and it was difficult for me to buy a bottle of milk. The hotel is very close to the pier. The airport bus has a stop at the door. Ask the front desk for the departure time. It is very convenient to rush to the airport.

Great 2 bedroom unit that we used as our base for 5 nights exploring the bottom half of Tassie. Living area isn’t huge and the kitchen is small, however it’s all very functional and works well. Bedrooms and bathroom facilities upstairs with comfy beds and bathrooms are great - fantastic shower pressure. Laundry facilities are good with 5 washing machines and dryers, and you can grab extra coffee, sugar, towels from here also anytime. Didn’t use the pool but it looks great. Parking is easy with parks straight outside your unit doors. Overall, great place to stay, but quite hilly if are wanted to walk into the city.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center. If there is a car, it is more convenient, but it is necessary to spit it out. July is their winter. The living room has an air conditioner but the heating is not very good. The dining room is miserable, there is no air conditioning, and the coat is in a hurry. After dinner, I went to the bedroom, but the three bedrooms had only one radiator, but the room was not too warm. The other two rooms had a radiator and one had no radiator. After many negotiations, the blanket was finally warmed. Waiting for the electrical appliances, I originally wanted to check out, but I saw that they were very good. I thought about the trouble of changing rooms. (To check out, you must say before 8:00, otherwise you will be able to enroll the next day.) I had a good night's sleep, I didn't expect to continually trip, power off, and half of the hot water was washed in the bath. I hurriedly wiped it with cold water. This is only 5 degrees in winter. I asked them to repair it many times, the electrician could do nothing, the wires were old, the walls of the house were thin, and the warmth was poor. At 11 o'clock in the evening, in order to guarantee the next few days, I decided to re-book the room and check out the next morning. Foreigners resolutely disagreed with the refund of the same room, even if they were not able to agree on their facilities, of course, the final result of Ctrip's mediation was satisfactory, so the partners of this hotel should consider it, they have no bedroom. Air-conditioned, no air conditioning in the summer, I think it is uncomfortable, but the scenery outside the house is good.

Basic room but very clean and well appointed. Very close proximity to all amenities of the cbd, uber eats was able to find us quickly and without hassle, also the establishment is very quiet of a night. The bed was comfortable and there was free Wi-Fi, for $85 a night, so close to everything and presented in this manner, I would happily recommend to anyone I know and will be staying again when we are down again. The only recommendation I have for the owners/managers is the shower cubicle itself is very small and I'm a tall guy and big build too, so moving around to shower was a bit hard but otherwise that's it. We stayed at the Waterfront for 21 days, using it as a base for our road trip. We had two rooms between three of us, and the budget price couldn’t be beaten for this type of accommodation. The motel is of the old style but has been maintained quite well with bright and comfortable rooms. Room facilities are good, kitchenettes with toaster, microwave, plates and cutlery, plus a communal kitchen to use. The rooms and linen were very clean. We weren’t disturbed by any noise even when the motel was fully occupied(it’s very popular). The location is excellent. There is a bus stop just down the road, the 561 and 562 buses run on the hour and get you into Hobart central in about twenty minutes. A shopping centre with a Coles and other stores is a ten minute drive away. I enjoyed my stay, the staff were so pleasant and obliging. I would thoroughly recommend this motel.

The hotel rooms have recently been renovated and are clean, fresh and functional. The beds are unbelievably comfortable. Despite its location above a bar, there is no noise. The staff are unbelievably accommodating, a special mention to Andrew and Peter for ensuring that we were accommodated for in every way, their service alone will give me enough to recommend this establishment to any visiting party. The hotel is well priced and exceeds all of the reasonable expectations. We will return. Thank you.

The Richmond Arms Hotel is an impressive heritage building set in this historic town. The room itself is quite comfortable but with shared bathroom facilities. There was quite a delay in checking in as the room was not ready but the bar compensated with a complimentary beverage. The hotel is very popular for lunch and dinner with guests and other customers and the food quality and variety is high. I was very grateful for the staff’s assistance when I misplaced my bank card. The only odd thing was that they featured only American sports on the large TV’s in the lounge but no one seemed to notice or care.
