This is a hotel where you can secure a comfortable sleep for the first time in a long time. I was able to sleep well at the hotel for the first time in a long time without room temperature, bed, duvet, shading, and noise. Meals are served either in Japanese or Western styles. The quantity and quality were sufficient. The room is old, and there are some inconveniences such as the opposite position of the front desk and the ele ― beta hall, the insertion position in the room key room, the deep bathtub, the difference between the bathroom and the room height. The location is near the station and is connected to commercial facilities, so it is convenient for eating and shopping. It is helpful not to go out in the snowstorm. The desk was spacious and enough to work. It is a hotel that I want to use again.

It was beautiful, and the staff were polite and cheerful, and it was very nice! I thought it was cheap anyway, but I'm glad I stayed so comfortable! I wish I had brought my ware if I knew there was a gym! Anyway, it was good (* ^^ *)

This is a revisit of Ku 々. This bedrock bath is my first experience. It's near the entrance, but first wash your body in the large communal bath in the back of the inn. So change into Samue and move near the entrance again. It was nice to sweat a lot in the bedrock bath, but I went to the large communal bath in the back while wearing a soaked samue. The inside of the building was quite cold, probably because of ventilation for corona measures, and the body was cold to the core with a soaked samue. It would be nice to have a space where you can change clothes near the bedrock bath, but there is only a paid private bath. Although it is a large communal bath, the indoor bath does not seem to be a hot spring. There is a sauna, but there is no cold bath. There is a sleeping space, but there is a sign that says ”cleaning” throughout your stay, and hot water is never filled. Supper is reasonable. The sashimi was delicious. Rice too. Breakfast has coffee, but no juice or milk. The room is large. There is no cold water pot, so you have to secure some water at night. The most impressive thing was the bedrock bath.

We used it for business. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is on the station side and there is no problem with eating. However, the nearest convenience store is about 5 minutes walk, so it may be inconvenient on a little rainy day. Breakfast is a buffet. The Japanese and Western balance is well balanced and all are very delicious. I'm glad that Nagaoka specialty is on the menu.

Our stay at Rankeisou was absolutely soothing for our bodies and souls. If you’re looking to stay at a traditional ryokan that’s away from the chaos of a big city, eat delicious and nutritious meals, soak in beautiful outdoor onsens, and experience the kindest hospitality — look no further! You MUST stay here and I guarantee it will be a life-giving and special experience. It certainly was for us. The inn itself is nestled in nature and if you’re lucky to get a room by the riverside, you can hear the gentle flowing river. The grounds are well-kept and must be beautiful in all seasons. We came near the end of November, and even with overcast skies and fallen leaves, the ryokan was so picturesque. Indoors, you can see all the thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers, signs in calligraphy on traditional paper, and an amazing record collection + speakers. There are public onsens and also private onsens available by reservation once you arrive. We stayed two nights with the breakfast and dinner options and - wow - I can’t even begin to describe how delicious everything was. I do not eat raw fish but they were able to accommodate by replacing the sashimi with other options such as steamed shrimp and crab. Mountain vegetables galore, wagyu, river fish, grilled fish, soups with insane umami - all subtle but exquisite taste. Some of my favorites were things like pickled radish steeped in sweet vinegar with yuzu or the tempura chestnut — and these weren’t even the main dishes. Very satisfying and filling meals! But what makes Rankeisou stand out from all the places we have stayed, is the kindest hospitality from Yukari san, who spoke fluent English and was my first point of contact since making the reservation directly on the website. Yukari san went out of her way to help us out, and while I will spare you all the details, I will say this: she felt more like family than a stranger and I sincerely hope you all will get to meet her. She is amazing! All of the staff here have been kind to us despite us not speaking Japanese and I cannot express my gratitude enough. I am so thankful that we were able to experience the magic of Rankeisou. Our favorite ryokan! Some practical tips: 1. I highly recommend renting a car so you can explore the area at your leisure. You could visit the snow peak headquarters, the Suwada open factory, etc (the tsubame-sanjo area is know for their metalwork and various crafts! Perfect place to get one of a kind souvenirs) 2. If you’re going to take public transportation from Tokyo, get the JR east pass as you will get it’s worth by just making a round trip to Tsubamesanjo station. 3. The free ryokan shuttle service will take about 45 minutes to get from the station to the inn so when you are booking your trains, keep that in mind. Shuttle pick up time from the station is 2:45 pm. The morning shuttle leaves from the inn and 10 am. Plan accordingly!

The coin laundry near the coin laundry was all out of order, but I went by car for 15 minutes on foot, but I gave up because it was a motorcycle, and I felt that I would like you to respond to requests and lend a bicycle. It was. The people at the front desk were very nice, so please do it as management. Thank you always.

EExplore810055I used this hotel using GoTo travel this time, but this price is cheap with breakfast even at the original value. The room is clean and comfortable. The bed is large and the table is a little size to work. The parking lot is also free and large, so you can use it with peace of mind. Welcome drinks are also available until late at night in front of the front desk. Breakfast is a buffet, but you have gloves.
Bbluetree2016130Close to Jr tsuru Sanjo station and convenient convenience stores next door. The route in hotel built by the high-speed interchange and Jr station is not possible to hit anywhere in the country if it is a solo travel or business, and it is good to be able to stay easily because the contents of the facility are almost the same. I like the WOWOW broadcasting for free in this hotel. In addition, free breakfast is not extremely small, as in other route inns, and it is substantial with a good kind of dish as breakfast. The taste of cooking is not a luxury.
SSGR_ShunI am glad that the Yan Sanjo station is a free plane parking lot just off the IC. There is 7-11 opposite, and there are also chirahora and taverns. The front desk of 2F is very simple & early. The building is old, the cushion of the chair is almost dead, and the TV is small and hard to see. There is a big window in the bath and you can see the hotel and the station next door. If you drop the screen, you will not see it from outside. However, I think it's good to divide it from the stay of \ 4000 sleeping.
