Wir waren zum 2.Mal eine Woche über Silvester und Neujahr, incl. Halbpension und Festmenüs im Dom Hotel. Das Hotel Hotel hat seine Jahre ”auf dem Buckel” aber Charme . Die Zimmer sind gut und solide ausgestattet, geräumig und sauber. Das Bad war neu renoviert, ausreichend groß und mit Fenster zum Dom ( wie auch unser Zimmer) Das Frühstücksbüffett war gut bestückt, mit frischen Bäcker-Brötchen und hervoragendem Kaffee vom Tee-Peter aus Freiburg. Aber zum Essen: Das 4 gängige Wahlmenü am Abend war mehr als nur überzeugend, alles hausgemacht kein Convinience. Es war eine Freude sich am Abend an den Tisch zu setzen. Es gab die komplette Woche rein garnichts zu bemängeln. Gegen Ende hatten wir Lust auf Forelle blau ( frisch aus dem eigenen Becken im Haus) und wollten gegen Bezahlung diese als Hauptgericht. Prompt wurde diese am auf die Halbpension-Menükarte gesetzt. Wir kommen wieder !!!

In August 2022 we were at Hotel Silberfelsen for a week and are still very enchanted in the back look. The two ladies that run the hotel are making every effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible. This starts with the small unspectacular things, such as the hearty check-in in the afternoon, but does not stop with important things like cleanliness and order. In the house, dust has no chance. This includes an unimpersive but effective Corona strategy: you were guided to the breakfast place, and the buffet should only be there for a few minutes for the respective table guests. All agreed to it. Here is the morning personal greeting, there is a hi when you came home and saw yourself by chance. The buffet was refreshed immediately if there was a lack, but the best was the fresh-made coffee cream, which was served to a even better laune at the table. Then you just returned to the conversation, which represents the heartful and personal character of the house. So the day began super. In short: beautiful area, quiet location, best hiking opportunities associated with a accommodation that is from ground to ground. A bed and a roof over your head is not always found everywhere, attention, friendly service and a warm basic feeling. We come back.
