Kijk, als je een voucher krijgt die 10% rabat geeft op alle hoofdgerechten, dan maak je daar gebruik van. De korting wordt verleend vanwege het feit dat de eigenaren ook de aan de andere zijde van de B9 gelegen camping beheren. Het restaurantgedeelte heeft een zeer ruim en prachtig ingericht terras dat uitzicht biedt op het beeldje van Die Jungfrau zelve en het zeer drukke scheepvaartverkeer in de beruchte bocht van Vater Rhein. De menukaart biedt 1 rund- , varken- en kipgerecht. Daarnaast een groot aantal Schnitzels, pizza's en Burgers. De gerechten kunnen ook worden meegenomen. Het restaurant is mooi, strak ingericht. Kortom: aanrader. 5 sterren verdiend.

Sehr enttäuscht! Wir waren , bei zugegeben wechselhaftem Wetter, zu Gast. Wir setzten uns auf die Terrasse die mit großen Schirmen ( mit Regenrinne) gut vor Regen geschützt ist. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt regnete es nicht. Außer uns, waren noch 6 weitere Tische besetzt. Nach uns kam auch noch eine 4er Gruppe, die sogar draußen reserviert hatten. Leider kam keine Servicekraft auf die Terrasse, obwohl diese vom Innenbereichen gut zu sehen ist. Auf Nachfrage ob jemand nach draußen kommen könne, wurden wir recht unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen - bei Regen wird draußen nicht bedient. Ich finde es ist nicht Zuviel verlangt, entweder ein Schild aufzustellen oder die Stühle an die Tische zu kippen. Geradezu unmöglich finde ich es, die Gäste einfach sitzen zu lassen und dann noch „pampig“ zu werden. Da niemandem von uns ein Platz im Innenbereichen angeboten wurde und wir alle verärgert ob der unfreundlichen Behandlung waren verließen alle Gäste das Lokal - vielleicht hat man es dort ja nicht nötig nett zu den Gästen zu sein?!

Es war der Blick auf den Loreley-Felsen, der uns hier auf ein Abendessen hin einlud. Und es war so gut, dass wir am nächsten Tag gleich wiedergekommen sind. Der Service ist flink, freundlich und aufmerksam und dass Essen wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Wir hatten 2x den Loreley-Burger, der mit keinem gewöhnlichen Patty, sondern köstlichen Roastbeef serviert wird, 2x das Gorgonzola-Schnitzel und ebenfalls 2x das normale Schnitzel. Never change a running system! Preis-Leistung sind sehr ausgewogen und absolut angemessen. Und der Blick ist ja sowieso unbezahlbar. PS: Parkplätze gibt es übrigens ganz bequem vor der Tür!
