Bedingung war sehr freundlich, lage war auch ganz okay leider gibt es im zimmer kein smart tv im ein film anzusehen Sauna war ganz ok wasser im pool war etwas kalt frühstücken war reichhaltig sehr große sortiment im zimmer rach es etwas komisch und der kühlschrank im zimmer war verschmutzt

Sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Service!

We have stayed at Kaiserfels for the last few years and 2026 did not disappoint! We spent the first week of Feb here with friends and family (8 in total). The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly, assisting with lift passes and also taxis as required. Rooms are very clean and have good storage, excellent showers and comfortable beds/pillows. The rooms are warm but the window is easily left open if fresher/cooler air is desired. - worked well for us. The food (buffet) is of a superb standard and there is always a huge range of choice. The restaurant staff are cheerful and chatty, it is nice to have the same person all week - Simos was very obliging and lovely to talk to. He remembered our drink orders/preferences immediately. The boot room is ideal for drying/storing your equipment and this hotel is definately ski in/out with the gondula just out the back of the bar. My only negative point is that the hotel bar is a little warm for us in the evenings but there was the option of sitting in the reception area - or using the 'Rock bar' situated at the rear of the hotel. All in all a wonderful stay yet again and we will be returning - thank you!

We stayed in Alpenhotel Kaiserfels St. Johann the last week of September, we had booked an escorted tour with Topflight from Ireland. The hotel was absolutely fabulous, exceptionally clean, staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional and the food was amazing. Room - We stayed in the older part of the hotel. The room was spacious considering we had an extra bed for our son. It was spotlessly clean. There were plenty of towels, two robes and slippers, shower gel, shampoo and hand soap. It was a bit strange having the toilet in a separate area to the sink and shower, luckily we had our own hand wipes, it might be a suggestion to provide these as there is a hygiene concern there. WiFi worked great and the TV had a couple of English speaking news channels. The balcony was a great size with stunning views of the Alps and valley. Food - We had breakfast and dinner included (half board) which was buffet style with a huge selection to suit everyone's tastes and a different theme for dinner every evening. Food was of a very high standard, absolutely faultless and staff were amazing. Upon first arrival you're given a table for the week which is great. Shout out to Sofia who was a fantastic waitress and exceptionally good with our son, so friendly, helpful and kind. The only issue I have is paying €3 for water, I do think this should be included in the price. Hotel - The hotel itself is located about 25/30 minutes walk from the town centre or €10 taxi fare each way. It's in a very peaceful and quiet location, the sound of the cowbells was lovely. It's a fabulous modern hotel but could do with a bit of entertainment for guests in the evening, most people in the bar were playing card or board games, not much atmosphere really. There was plenty of amenities eg. indoor pool, sauna, kids playground and playroom etc during the day. All of the staff from the cleaning crew to the kitchen/dining crew and reception were so helpful and attentive. I'd like to especially mention Judith on reception for being so helpful and friendly answering all our questions with ease. Overall if you're looking for a stylish, clean, quiet hotel with beautiful views, great food and attentive staff this is the one for you.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel - another great holiday. Thank you to all the staff - the very welcoming Reception staff, the lovely couple who cleaned our room and left it spotless and to all the waiting and kitchen staff who worked so hard during our two week stay providing fantastic dishes every night. The standard of the buffet and dinner at breakfast was amazing. Enjoyed our daily swim in the lovely spa area. The fact that this was our fourth visit says it all and we will definitely be returning for more of the wonderful Austrian hospitality at Kaiserfels. Special thanks to Katrina for organising our stay as always so lovely, helpful and efficient!

We had a great time at Alpenhotel Kaiserfels. The staff is very friendly, the hotel has great location just next to the lift, the rooms are spacious and clean and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The pool is also quite larger and there's activities for the kids such as foosball and a kids room.

AMAZING TIME, THIS HOTEL CANNOT TRULY COMPARE TO ANYTHING I HAVE EXPEREINCED BEFORE, THE AMBIENCE, FOOD, AND EVERYTHING WERE ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LEVEL, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL OVER ANY OTHER HOTEL IN THE AREA, YOU CANNOT TRULY BEAT IT FOR THE PRICE POINT AND EVERYTHING IT HAS TO OFFER.

We have been coming to this hotel since 2015. It is the location that is fantastic at the bottom of the slope, the staff (especially Catrine) who always provide a warm welcome and know how you are and what your needs are. They know their job very well...hospitality at its best! The rooms are spotless and equipped with all comforts and the restaurant and all the other facilities (welness, gym, swimmingpool...) also deserves a big compliment! We will be there again this year for Christmas!

Went for a ski holiday. Really nice modern hotel, fairly quiet which was perfect for us as a family. The family rooms are crowded with a couch bed, a foldable bed and the double bed. For a full week stay having connecting rooms would be preferable. The double bed in the new part of the hotel were new and really comfortable - and the kids beds were acceptable, but unfit for adult weights. Everywhere is clean and neat in the hotel, while maintaining a chill atmosphere, where kids are welcome too. The facilities check all the boxes, although some are more basic than others: Fitness Pool (for kids all day) Saunas (for families one hour a day) Bar/lounge Ski-garage with dryers The restaurant was top notch! Really nice buffets and varied too! Quality was good and gluten-free bread and pastas were prepared upon request. Most of the staff were extremely service minded. The surroundings include a ski equipment store, a ski rental, ski school/instructors, a cafe and it’s all just a few hundred meters from the lift. All lifts are slow so you end up spending much time in them, especially the top lifts. It’s a shame there’s no long green for beginners technique training, but on a positive note the slopes and lift system around the mountain side is well connected so even though it’s a small place, there’s adventures to be had. The temperatures were horrible while we were there. 10-14 degrees most days and no new show for over a week. They struggled every night - making new snow when possible and reparations with what little they had. In all fairness we were impressed, even though the circumstances were bad. We had two full good days, and good mornings the rest of the week, before the snow got too heavy and bulky to ski for us intermediates.

Our stay was great ! The hotel is very modern and comfortable. The room was cosey with a good bed and beautifull bathroom! Kept very clean every day, with extra towells and a bathrobe/slippers for the wellness. The temperature in the room as well as in the restaurant is quite warm. We very much enjoyed the lovely pool and sauna area, wich are also beautifull spacious and clean. The restaurant was beyond our expectations, delicious menu's wich offered a great varity off wonderfull food. The buffet was something to look forward to every day, and the restaurant staff so very friendly and welcoming. There was a seperate area in the restaurant for families with children. We agree on the temperature being rather warm. We felt very safe concerning covid regulations well kept. The piste a good place to ski and also the rockbar a very nice place to take a break, good rental services at Patricks Intersport, all next to the hotel

We stayed at Kaiserfels for NYE. The hotel is really clean, excellent facilities, ski in / ski out a complete bonus, lovely food and a really cosy atmosphere. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. It is on the edge of town, but we got a taxi a couple of evenings to explore a little further, but we were so tired from the skiing, we were very happy to stay put for most of the time. The pool offers a great contrast in activity to skiing all day. The spa is lovely, but worth noting it's a 'textile free' spa, which I didn't realise. Took me a while to work out why all the naked people were looking at me in my swimming cozzy, like I'd lost my mind! LOL My husband and I hadn't being skiing for about 20 years so we booked into beginner lessons, which were well worth it! Our sons both had lessons too. We opted for mornings only (two hours, 10am-12pm), which we were happy with. It gave us the afternoons to spend together, on the slopes, and it seemed like our morning session just went over the same things in the afternoons, so we didn't feel we missed out on learning time. We booked with Crystal Holidays and the only room available for us was a superior twin. I'm not sure what made it 'superior', it was a double room with a sofa bed and extra camp bed. The 4 beds in a row eliminated the floor space. Our boys are 7 and 12 and it was pretty cramped. We are looking to return next year and booking direct with the hotel offers more option i.e. connecting rooms / junior suites with separate bedrooms etc. Snow wise, it didn't snow until the last day of our week's holiday. The slopes were packed with snow however, and the canons did a good job of keeping it fresh. I'd thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel if you're travelling with a family or you're beginner / intermediate skiers. The slopes aren't intimidating at all and perfect for those learning. We can't wait to return :)

Staff are excellent! Breakfast, reception, bar and dinner staff are all fantastic! They couldn’t do enough for us! Hotel has an excellent location beside the slopes, ski school, ski rental etc. it’s outside of town but great location for skiing!

Auf Motorradreise hier Halt gemacht Ich hatte die Ehre die Hoteldirektorin kennen zu lernen und kann nur sagen : eine hoch professionelle Fachkraft, die ihren Job sehr gut macht, wie man überall im Hotel sehen und spüren kann, und dazu noch jung und hübsch . Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert für jedes Publikum: junge, ältere, Einzelpersonen, Paare oder Familien

Tolles Hotel mit super Lage. Die Heimische Skischule direkt im Haus ist einfach perfekt. Der Skihang und Skilift liegt direkt am Hotel perfekt für den Einstieg. Toller Wellnessbereich und leckeres Essen.
