Recommended by a dear friend, we booked 3 nights at Villa Crawford in Sant'aglio and had a really good time. The quadruple room they assigned us overlooks the sea and has a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples. Comfortable beds, clean and tidy bathroom and facility. The Villa is a former religious institute with a beautiful park, in a very quiet and peaceful area. The staff is very kind. Sant'Agnello is a couple of kilometers from the port of Sorrento, an ideal base for excursions to the Amalfi coast and Capri. It is also a 15 minute walk from the Circumvesuviana station which allows you to go to Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples by public transport, without queues and expensive parking costs. The only flaw in the stay was the breakfast, ruined by poor quality coffee and cappuccino. It seems that the company that manages breakfast is different from the one that manages the hotel and unfortunately the difference is noticeable. I hope that the slew of negative comments about the breakfast will prompt the owners of the property to take action. It would take very little to deserve a 5 out of 5 rating because the Villa is truly splendid.
