Majestic Palace Hotel

Everything was excellent

Place was superb, clean and very beatiuful. However twin beds were so small in veryspacious room. I was almost weel down while sleeping at night 🤣

Hotel majestic palace is truly a wonderful hotel, the decor in every part of the hotel is splendid & the gardens are breathtaking with lovely orange & lemon trees, The views were fantastic from our room 305 I totally would comeback here again 👌 The evening meals were very nice & friendly staff Breakfast is your usual continental which sets u up for the day!

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The true star of the show for this hotel is the location. You can walk through the gardens with their lemon trees which is gorgeous. The views from the roof top bar and the balcony are glorious. The breakfast was continental but has a good range of options. The swimming pool was fun if chilly in May. 2 practical pieces of advice - 1) The hotel does have a laundry service, but it is expensive paying per item (€15 per t-shirt), so there is a launderette a short walk down Corso Italia (in the direction of Sorrento) in which we washed and dried two bags for life worth for the same price as the one t-shirt at the hotel. 2) Also ask for a bath mat! The bath gets really slippery.

Really nice hotel, very clean, lovely helpful staff, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels which I loved, shower was amazing in our room 108 but daughter had a shower over the bath and our walk in shower was superior. Don't bring shower gel. BUT do bring a hairdryer as the one in the bathroom is terrible and needs removing. We stayed in 108 and 107 for our daughter. Rooms need hooks for towels other than 2.in the shower?? Bring hangers as only got 6! The rooms didn't have a private balcony it was a huge balcony shared with 2 other rooms, great for multiple families but not when our daughter was sleeping alone In her room. as she felt she had to have the doors locked at night. These rooms would be fine for large families. Breakfast is fairly good, eggs, beans, mushrooms and bacon fresh breads rolls meats and cheese, fresh Honey and cereals. Lots of choice of juice tea coffee water etc. Fresh cakes and pastries 🍰 Lift available and nice bar lounge area. The roof terrace bar looks amazing and we went up there the 1st night it opened but it was cold and only 2 heaters working. we were given blankets but the furniture looks plump n cosy and infact is plastic! and wet..the roof terrace has amazing views BUT we were completely ripped off £15euros for a glass of house red(Cheaper in the ground floor bar) €12 for a small Aisa beer and € 16 for a cocktail.... we felt completely ripped off and expected to pay a bit more but not more than they charge in the main bar just for sitting on the roof! what a shame! stung with a hotel fee for the rooms when leaving you left a bit of a sour taste... yes expect to pay more on holiday in ITALY but don't rip your guests off! didn't use the restaurant in the evening as knew it would be ridiculously expensive 🙃 couldn't use pool as it was only 15degrees but we did go in April so to ge expected.

Lovely grand looking hotel. It has 100 rooms but it feels small and boutiquey. Lovely large garden out the back with orange and lemon trees. Nice pool area out the front albeit in April it's in the shade all afternoon. We had a refurbished room on the top floor. Comfortable bed, new look and feel of bathroom with lovely rain shower. Room had a safe and coffee machine. Huge terrace with views to Vesuvius. Air con didn't work but may have been because April is classes as out of season. Rooftop cocktail bar very expensive, presumably to pay for the 5 staff standing around doing nothing. We enjoyed the piped lounge music while at the bar but not when we went to bed and it was over poweringly loud until 11.30 pm. Breakfast was excellent quality with good choices. Plenty of staff hanging around not doing much. Reception staff super friendly and very helpful. No car park on site. Mininal on- street parking, payable at the meter. Reception can provide discounted secure car park ticket for a local garage (20 euros per day). It's a not very scenic 25 minute walk, or a 25 euro taxi ride into Sorrento centre.

Lovely Hotel A real treasure.Quite and relaxing Based approx 25 minute walk from the centre Recommend the alternative walk which brings you by the cliff walk for lovely views Perfect food every morning Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful Would stay again

Extremely good staff and the Michelin restaurant is awesome.
