This review relates only to the adults only section of this hotel as we didn't use the facilities in the family section, it was half term and very busy. In comparison the adult only section is an oasis of tranquility and calm. The first and most important thing that I wanted to say is I think they must feed the staff happy pills, everyone and I do mean every single person we encountered was lovely, smiley, happy, helpful, it just felt like they all love where they work! Everything is brand new, built in January I believe, and the completely round building feels almost like something out of a sci-fi movie, and is quite high tech. We had a swim up room on the first floor, yep you get a balcony AND a pool, we used it every day, perfect for privacy and peace and quiet. Because we didn't venture into the family section we only ate at the two restaurants in the adult section, one being a pool side snack bar. The food in both was really good quality but the main buffet restaurant in particular was superb and the menu changes every night so eating in only one place was not a problem. Couldn't fault the drinks, branded spirits, great cocktail selection and of course the bar staff knew within a day what our favourite drinks were (attention to detail!). The entertainment on this side is not overpowering, we had singers, a very talented young lady on sax and a jazz band one night. Last thing to mention is the spa, included in the AI are all the steam rooms and saunas, plus ice bucket and a great thermal pool with jets. We used it every day bar two. This hotel is pure relaxation, if you are looking for an adult hotel with heaps of class then this is it! Thank you to you all.
