Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel - All Inclusive

My wife and myself have just returned from a two week stay at this hotel. The rooms were great, we were in 1401 which got the evening sun on the balcony, the beds were firm which suited us, plenty of sun loungers, nice pool area and good entertainment. The food was probably the weakest point of the hotel. It was generally OK but could be improved upon. Having said that it didn't detract from our enjoyment it's just that we've had better. The best aspect of the hotel is the staff who to a person were fantastic. Friendly, obliging and cheerful. They were a credit to the hotel and made our stay. In particular Luiz Divina who was like a ray of sunshine, working at the pool bar and the main bar in the evenings. In summary we will definitely visit this hotel again.

My partner and I have just returned from our holiday, and we absolutely loved our stay at the Protur Palmeras Playa. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is decent (though we preferred lunch to dinner), the entertainment was enjoyable. However, what really made our week was the staff. Every single member of staff was so lovely, so friendly and always seemed genuinely happy to see you. Nothing was ever too much for them, and they went above and beyond to make sure every guest was enjoying their stay. By the end of our stay, we were gutted to be leaving. We had such a great week here and will definitely be back!

Just returned home after 4 days with my two daughters and friend. The hotel was excellent . Food was so good plenty of choice. Rooms are spacious and all the staff are very helpful…… special thanks to Miguel who always looked after us at dinner. The hotel is well situated near the beautiful beach of Sa coma. The only let down for us was the entertainment on an evening but we didn’t let it spoil our break we had a great time and would return

This is another fantastic hotel from the Protur group of hotels. Situation just 5 mins walk from the shops and restaurants of Sa Coma town or the beachfront. This is our first time at this particular Protur hotel, although we have stayed at several of the other hotels in the group so we had high expectations that this hotel had the same high standards, which it delivered on all fronts. The reception area is spacious and welcoming, with plenty of comfy sofa's and chairs, plus the usual informational boards. The staff on reception are lovely and welcoming, plus were attentive throughout our stay. We had two lovely and spacious rooms next to each other, which we request beforehand and the hotel listened and duly fulfilled our request perfectly!! We had a fantastic view of the pool area, as our rooms were situation at the front of the hotel so we looked down the whole of the complex, great to people watch!!! Our rooms were beautifully clean, there are large double beds and a large sofa bed for our 16 year old son. The bathrooms are spacious with all the regular facilities. The rooms have lovely and beautiful decor and furniture. The restaurant is fabulous, with a wide choice of food and drinks that more than satisfied everyone's pallet and our boys are fussy eaters!!! The staff work extremely hard working, ensuring the tables are promptly cleared and cleaned. Food is replenished so there's always plenty of choice of gorgeous food. The pool area has plenty of sun loungers, along with two pool tables, a table tennis table, a snack bar severing a good variety of food and drink throughout the day. The staff are extremely tentative in the snack bar during the day and in the hotel bar at night. The majority of the entertainment is good most of the time, with a few acts being just ok.

We are repeat visitors to this hotel, it's always clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food has been excellent every time we have been..Miguel, the restaurant manager really takes pride in the restaurant and is very attentive to all guests. A new pool had been put in for this stay and I must say, I prefered the old pool as it had a more relaxed tropical feel about it. Now there is lots of concrete and there are more sunbeds but they are very close together and the pool is freeeezing. We still had a great time though, the kids loved it, we will come back again at some point.

We thoroughly enjoyed out 10 days at the Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel. Its proximity was close to the beach and you could walk out at night without having to look out for traffice (just cyclists). The food was varied and hot. We were all inclusive so there was cold and hot drinks served all day. There was only about 1 hour during the day when you could not get something to eat at the pool bar. Ice creams were available all day long. Our room was comfortable, spacious and overlooked the pool.

Lovely hotel, beautiful rooms, delicious food and great service. Only one thing to comment on, we were all inclusive and nowhere in the bar was a list of what was included. Our room was possibly one of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. My partner had his birthday while we there and a delicious, very well chilled bottle of sparkling wine, was delivered to our room with complements of the hotel.

Stayed at hotel following a cruise , on arrival from outside the place didnt scream amazing but after checking in and being shown where to go the room was massive with everthing needed , bathroom was practically same size as living area with a lovely sized walk in shower and plenty of towels , bed was 2 singles together and very large with a duvet which was nice normally only a sheet and then hunting around for a blanket , balcony was large with table and chairs and all views appeared to have pool view . Pool appeared nice but didn't use as very very cold , plenty of loungers and chairs but this was right at the end of the season. The entertainment was a bit hit and miss, there was 2 young girls that appeared at parts throughout the night introducing acts, bingo was high on the cards and popped up a few nights some of the entertainment started terrible and then once kicked off we found ourselves really good and funny, drinks were OK and served quickly and empties removed again quickly. Food was really the only thing that we had a issue with being there only a week we found to be very same same , they had theme nights and it seemed they added a separate table with 3 or 4 items and this was the theme although we always manged to find something the annoyance was that the hot food was barely luke warm and even after the trays had been changed within seconds the food was the same temp they had a grill station and even food that was cooked on that come off it barely warm . Beach a 5 min walk away and sea was lovely and clear , a few shops and restaurants. Bus stop outside and very easy to use yap ok amd tap off with bank card enjoyed getting a bus and just randomly getting off somewhere. What I will say about this hotel is the staff are amazing we were greated and smiled at by every member of staff we ever passed and all worked so hard and looked like they really enjoyed there jobs . Overall we had a fantastic week and although we wouldn't return to this location we would recommend 👌.

There have been many great reviews of this hotel, most are extremely positive with a few negatives. Of the latter, presumably they are serial complainers, got the wrong hotel or trying to get some of their money back. The positives have highlighted the very pleasant and helpful staff, the good and varied food, the very large hotel rooms and great setting not far from the beach and a long esplanade along the coast and a nearby wooded area for good walks. We cannot fault this hotel having had considerable experience of others around the world. There was a very good gala dinner which had an enormous range of delicious and well prepared food and the additional Italian meal offered weekly was a pleasant addition. We can well understand why many previous visitors come back.
