酒店價格不菲，但是房間不大沒有浴缸且沒有面海的景色，大部分錢都是交在這個地理位置和精緻裝修上。酒店停車也是要錢的，各項服務沒有啥免費提供的，所以七七八八算下來7、8千一晚的酒店真的沒什麼性價比可言。
當然也是有點歷史和設計感的，確實不少有錢人住，但如果想真正享受有錢人的感覺，最好得訂超過一萬一晚的房間，否則你會跟我一樣後悔錢扔水裡了。
不要説我窮酸沒見世面，我搬出去在聖巴巴拉downtown也住了，LA等其他地方都住了，沒有對比沒有傷害。衹能説不嫌錢多可以住，畢竟還是豪華酒店，不會不舒服，衹是你那點小錢買不來高貴，別跟我一樣被小紅書推銷給迷了眼就行。

This hotel had some odd quirks. While the room was excellent and the location superb, service was a little off. My husband unexpectedly needed a private space to attend a board meeting by zoom. The hotel was first non-responsive, then basically refused to accommodate him until we pressed, and then finally made him sign a contract and pay $500 for a private room. (The hotel was not full). We also had to ask repeatedly for the room to be serviced and it just seemed that the staff wasn’t well versed in making a guest feel welcome and taken care of.

The hotel was amazing and really made our Santa Barbara staycation so memorable. It was our first time traveling with our 9 month old baby, so nerves were high. From the time we pulled up, valet immediately greeted us with a smile and bell carts to load and transport our luggage. We walked into the front desk where we were again greeted with smiles and great attitudes. When I expressed concerns of space for baby things (strollers, crib, etc) to the front desk manager, they completely understood and upgraded our room to a larger space and ensured we were on an end unit in case there was any crying we wouldn't disturb others. The room was clean, spacious and luxurious and I cant wait to return to stay in the room again. As far as location, we were able to walk everywhere which was convenient even though we didn't need to go far! We enjoyed breakfast at goat tree (avocado toast is amazing) and wine tasting at Margerum. The weather was a little overcast for the pool but I'm hoping our next trip includes a pool day! Overall, the $$ rate warrants the experience! If you are looking for friendly & accommodating staff, a fantastic location and mouthwatering food, don't hesitate to book hotel Californian. This will be the only hotel we book moving forward!

Fine if this was a Marriott, not so much for triple the price (which was discounted!). Decor and furnishings seem a little dated. They weren't on their A-game. Seems like we were there in their off-season, and they were 'coasting.' Non-working elevators, non-working pool heater (with signs apologizing, instead of someone doing the necesary work to repair).

sehr tolles hotel an toller lage. sehr nette mitarbeiter wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. zimmer und hotel sehr schönes design. auch das sport restaurant hat uns sehr gefallen. das frühstück haben wir im hoteleigenen frühstücksrestaurant eingenommen hat uns auch sehr geschmeckt. danke für diese erfahrung in ihrem hause!

Very cool hotel, excellent rooms very nice amenities! However, it’s good to know that they have several buildings that are separated by busy streets so if you want to use the pool you may have to cross the street on your bathrobe. Perhaps if you know ahead of time you can ask to be in the building with the pool. They could use a few more people working in the bar and pool area to serve drinks and clean up after people leave.

We stayed in a wedding block for a friend's wedding and so were able to just barely afford the stay. It is an absolutely 10 out of 10 experience staying there. FYI you basically have to use the valet service for parking.

The hotel facilities deserve recognition.. it’s beautiful and well kept. The service (or lack therof) also deserve recognition, just not positive. I receive better service at a 2-3 star hotel. If you are booking this hotel for the aesthetics and for the picts, great. However, if you remotely value service as a factor in deciding on a luxury hotel, you should probably keep looking.
