Harbor View Inn

Excellent hotel, very clean and classy!

We had a great experience at the Harbor View Inn last week. We stayed for a 4 day weekend and enjoyed the hotel and location! We stayed in the south wing, it was clean, the staff were polite and welcomed us back every time we came and went. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the shower was fabulous! We had a nice long lanai with a view of the water. There was private parking and noticed that the attendant checked to make sure those parking had passes (as spaces were limited) which we appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was heated and towels were available at the pool. Our rooms were cleaned daily and cleaned well. Thank you! The only downside is that there is poor cell service in the rooms; was able to log into the hotel WiFi which did help. The gift shop has minimal offerings and we really wanted to purchase waters and sodas and were sent to a vending machine which wasn’t convenient. Lastly, they only supply you with 2 regular coffee k cups so we did have to call for more k cups and more coffee cups but they brought them right up as it was before housekeeping was open. Would 100% return to this hotel and tell our friends! We enjoyed our experience 😀

Luved it. Front desk service were fabulous which was lovely as we had a rather unpleasant phone call with the supervisor during the week. Glad to experience the actual front desk staff were super nice!!

If you want clean updated room with small town feel plus fireplace and best coffees in town next door you found it. I’d stay here every time I could. Staff were all so accommodating. Glad we found this jewel in this small harbor town called half moon bay. Overlooking the harbor was icing on the cake!!!

Booked 6 months ahead for great deal on Ocean view Front with Balcony and we were very happy with our choice looking straight out at the sand and ocean with the pier immediately to the left and the nice start of State Street a couple of minutes walk away. Parked on site under shade which was also convenient, there is a charge but this is clear in advance and is well worth the convenience in that area. Room was very comfortable and clean, a good size and no noise during the night. Balcony was good size with two loungers. We would have preferred regular chairs but not a big deal. A friendly welcome at reception on arrival and each time we left and returned which is always a nice touch. Our room was in the main building which we preferred. The nice pool area was located behind the adjacent building and a comfortable place to spend a couple of hours. No meals at hotel but a hundred yards stroll from a great breakfast restaurant and a little further to other options so no shortage of choice within easy reach. No bar on site but again good choices close by and a handy fridge to store your own requirements. There is a very small shop behind reception selling spirits and mixers and I think maybe wine but we didn't need to use it. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if in Santa Barbara and would happily recommend to friends and family.

The hotel is fantastic. It's not fancy but it's clean, cute remodeled rooms. Best part is prices, best location in town! There's not a restaurant on property but there's the cutest breakfast spot next store called Jeanine's. Breakfest was expensive but it was so good!

This was our first visit to the Harbor View Inn and it was exceptional. We had a room with a view of the harbor and a balcony. The room was spacious, immaculate and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. Another plus is the hotel’s location next to State Street. The shops and restaurants were within walking distance. This will be our default hotel every time we will visit Santa Barbara.

Our stay at the Harborview Inn was absolutely wonderful. Our check-in was a breeze, staff was super friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the north wing set away from the main part of the hotel, and would absolutely stay here again. Our room was gorgeous, with a perfect view of the city. One of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in before. Very conveniently. Located to plenty of restaurants and tasting rooms within walking distance. Perfect place to experience this downtown area of Santa Barbara. Will definitely come back.
