Good choice for those who don't want to pay $$$$$ for a pleasant quiet and clean hotel. One complaint: mattress needed to be replaced.

The hotel is very clean, newly renovated with a nice decor that has the Santa Barbara vibes. It's walking distance to the beach but it does not have beach views. Easy parking on the property. The front desk staff was very friendly. We were given complimentary welcome drinks and there is tea, coffee, cookies and fruits available 24/7 at the lobby.
I'd highly recommend this place to couples, friends and families.

My first time staying at the Mason Beach Inn wasn't too bad. There were a few things I did not like about the stay, such as:
- The walls being paper thin (so you can hear your surroundings, especially if you're by the pool.
- Also hearing the sounds of the shower or the sink from the next room or above you if you're on the first floor.
- I noticed there were a few hair strands on brand new towels, and I discovered a silverfish in the bathroom (just one).
- Last but not least the parking is a bit compact.
Other than that, the aesthetics of the room itself was really nice, not far from the beach at all. Walking distance to be exact. Also the bed was very comfortable.

Clean, excellent customer service. Comfortable accommodations close to the beach and excellent restaurants within walking distance Friendly attentive staff. Comfortable bedding and pillows, clean bathrooms and showers. Nice little homey touches such as complimentary cookies, coffee, tea, oranges, oatmeal, cold can drinks upon check in. Easy check in and check out procedures.

Well, I didn't expect too much for this place when I booked it but it was worse than what I expected.
It was pretty noisy outside until late night so I couldn't sleep.

The staff was accommodating. The hotel was very clean, had a very nice scent, close to the Beaches. Located in very a clean, safe, quiet neighborhood. Will definitely stay there again.

It was terrific. The only issue was the bicycle rental for $10 per hour seemed high.
