The fireplace wasn't working when we initially arrived. The manager on duty reminded us to use a card to turn on services, which we did. It worked at first, but we returned after dinner only to find it not working again. It was very cold in the morning and neither the fireplace nor the heater worked! After calling the morning manager to come out to the room herself to see what was needed, she saw that it needed the handyman to come in from home and take care if it. He eventually came and addressed the matter and repaired the system. I believe we should be compensated in some way for this.

Great location to the train station and beach. I liked my room with the balcony. The patio area is small but relaxing. Way too quiet though. The lobby and patios need a little ambience like soft music playing. I found someone else's hairs in my bed. The breakfast menu is very limited (it had 4 options) so I ate elsewhere. I wish there were just the basics like English muffins, eggs, fruit, etc. The overall stay was pleasant so no serious complaints.

Delicious breakfasts! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. Staff is incredibly friendly. Espresso machine available 24 hours. We took advantage of the free bikes twice! We were sad to leave. We'd absolutely stay at the Eagle Inn again!

What amazing place to stay .No doubt we will stay her again .Such cozy hotel very close to the beach and all amenities such restaurants and shops.You don’t need car neither Uber ,we walked all over St Barbara .Beautiful,cute patio/balcony for brekfast (included).
Espresso machine in lobby very convenient.
If you pick it ,you will be in haven of SB.

What a wonderful B&B in Santa Barbara! We didn’t want to leave! The service from the front desk was amazing, everyone was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the Superior King Room with a balcony, tub and fireplace- very romantic and cozy. The bikes were also a great perk and we rode the boardwalk from one end to the other, and the next day took them through the marina and had lunch. The Eagle Inn was a 7-minute walk from the train station and an easy walk to the Wharf and Funk Zone. We dined at Toma for our Anniversary Dinner and had lunch at Validation, so many to choose from! The Reagan Museum was also a nice place to visit. We are already planning our return trip and will be staying at The Eagle Inn again! Exceptional hospitality!
