Robin, the manager, could not do early check in, even with an associated fee. I needed early check in to finish some important work for my business. I offered to pay a fee for early check in or switch rooms. Since I arrived 4 hours early, I surmised it would not be an issue. I was denied these requests, so, I offered to cancel the booking for a refund. After some rudeness from the manager and denial of a refund, I decided to cancel the reservation without a refund. Another worthy note is I noticed a couple of roaches in the hotel lobby. This gave me some reassurance regarding my cancellation.
