Great place to stay in Santa Clara. Convenient location and the inner courtyard area and pool are very nice. Clean and spacious. Breakfast was tasty.

Situé à quelques pas de la rue principale de Santa Cruz , cet hotel dispose d une grande surface interne , vaste jardin quelque peu bétonné mais ou les iguanes folâtrent paresseusement. Il y a une piscine ; les chambres sont corrects , le petit-déjeuner également et le personnel attentionné. Une étape d une nuit suffit.

Simple hotel, definitely nothing fancy. Bad matresses. Shower only luke warm. Small terrace to eat breakfast (OK). Good for one night stay, but not more . Swimming pool rather dirty (lot of leaves). Best thing: it is rather cheap. Difficulty to find a decent restaurant in the area.

My family of 5 reserved 2 rooms at Hotel Diria for the evening of 12/29/23 as a stop between Nosara and the Liberia airport. Unfortunately the weather was poor that day which prevented us from exploring as we intended. We decided to go to the airport to try to change flights. Even though we had just checked in and paid via a credit card, the manager, upon hearing our situation, immediately refunded our money without any further questions. She did it with a smile and set us on our way. It’s nice to see customer service is still alive and well. Very well done, Hotel Diria.

Este hotel fue una excelente opción para visitar y pasear por Guanacaste con amigos. Tiene una ubicación muy cómoda para visitar diferentes playas y parques a menos de una hora de distancia. El hotel nos brindó una gran estadía, con excelente servicio al cliente, muy buenos desayunos típicos y con un área común llena de naturaleza. Los cuartos fueron cómodos y amplios, y además por el precio de estadía quedé aún más contento con mi experiencia.

Don't confuse this Hotel Daria in Santa Cruz with the Hotel Daria in Tamarindo. Santa Crus in not a beach town, and this hotel is on its last legs. It was clean but very basic. Beds no more than functional. We has to ask for towels, there were none in the room. They said the restaurant was open until noon but when we went for breakfast at 10 they said they just closed. Two small bars of soap and not other toiletries, no real problem but priced as a 3 star. Grounds are not maintained. Obviously once was a nice hotel, but now just a place to sleep. The area is good in that you are less than an hour from many beaches. Costa Rica is wonderful, but this hotel is just a place to hang your hat for a night. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they made the stay ok. the pools are nice and well maintained. One is designed for children. 1/2 meter deep throughout and so great for young children. If you need a place for a night, this might work for you.

Jamás había tenido la oportunidad de visitar Costa Rica ya que soy mexicano. Este verano 2021 tuve la oportunidad de viajar con amigos a tierras ticas. El punto aquí es que este hotel me demostró lo lindo que es Costa Rica. Excelente trato por parte del staff, las habitaciones muy limpias y la ubicación excelente! Recomiendo muchísimo probar el gallo pinto en los desayunos.

Love Costa Rica! Normally we've stayed at non-tourist areas of this country. However, Everyone I know that has been to Costa Rica talks about this area so we just wanted to see it. We only stayed 2 nights but it was quite entertaining after being 2 weeks in the secluded mountains. This hotel is a perfect place if you dont know the town, Its right in the middle of all the action. The 'American' breakfast was wonderful. And the Britt coffee machine in the restaurant is OUTSTANDING. The hotel beach is wide and not so crowded. You can easily find your spot.
