I recently had the pleasure of staying at Best western “student program ” for more than a year. It was a great experience overall. The room was clean, and spacious. Moreover, the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, particularly by Samantha, whose service was truly exceptional. Her genuine kindness and dedication to guest satisfaction truly stood out. The air was broken and was extremely hot. They knew it was broken but chose to give us a fan which helped a little. Also our room was right next to the breakfast buffet which woke us up early with all the noise. The air also did not work in the gym area. The breakfast was delicious and the front desk was very friendly.

Excellent room for traveling with a family of 4. Excellent breakfast (hot items- eggs, bacon/sausage, plus waffles, toast/bagels, cereal, with a machine that will make almost any coffee drink (and hot chocolate for the kids 😉) which is part of the Hydration Station - includes a water station to fill up all bottles for the day. Staff was very friendly. Parking is covered, in a garage underneath the hotel. Parking a bigger car could be tricky. We had no problem parking our mid-size SUV. Close to downtown. If we return to Santa Cruz, will definitely stay here again.

Above expectation. Room were nice and clean. It had everything I needed for my working station. I called maintenance. They came in and fixed the problem. Went late for breakfast and the lady assisted me with everything I wanted.

The service was ok. The room was terrible It was dirty. The toilet seat was dirty, Mold on the shower glass, hair in the shower, dead bug in the corner of the bathroom and furniture was dusty. You could hear all the noise from the room above and everything from people passing by in the hall way.
