Staying at The Chaminade was the highlight of my recent trip to Santa Cruz. The property is stunning (didn't even want to leave), the restaurant view (appropriately named The View) was incredible and delicious. All the staff were amazing, especially Krysta who helped reserve a very special experience for me and my partner. I cannot recommend this hotel/resort enough. I look forward to hopefully revisiting at least once per year.

I stayed at Chaminade for a 3-day work retreat. If you rank it as a hotel it was okay. But among conference facilities in the Northern California it was the best! Unlike other conference centers, everything was up to 4-star standard. The hotel/conference center is located in the Santa Cruz hills with the great view of the ocean. It was about 15 minute drive from the beach. The room was pretty good, but could use some improvements. It felt too big with lots of empty space between the bed and the TV. The mattress was slightly worn down. The water pressure was not great. Also there was poor sound isolation - creaky floor upstairs and loud stomping woke me up several times. But the rooms in other conference centers were much more basic. The reception area looked fancy. There were several pools, a place for bonfires, a large fitness center and a few hiking trails nearby. I ate at the restaurant once and it was great. The other meals were catered meals and were pretty good. The conference facilities were really nice. Chaminade staff was very professional and easy to deal with before and during the event. I would recommend our depar**ent to book it for our next retreat!

Andy T made our wedding tasting experience so fun! He has such a passionate and lively personality and was so attentive! He answered all our questions with such detail. We can’t wait to have him help on our wedding day! We are so excited for our big day!

Great mom day brunch at the View. Andrew E was a great attentive server. Nice spread in the buffet, omelet station. Request for next time - Belgian waffles. Enjoying a delightful brunch on a sunny terrace, savoring freshly brewed coffee and gourmet pancakes, while overlooking the Monterey bay

Chaminade offers a delicious Mother's day brunch that has become a tradition for our family. This year the food and food service did not disappoint, but the parking situation was beyond disappointing. Completely disorganized valet parking that took over an hour to get our car after our meal. Hopefully they can implement some better systems for parking management next year.

Food was incredible! It was Mother’s Day Buffet :) The dessert table made our daughters’ dreams come true. The poke area was a nice surprise. Service was also amazing. Andrew E. was really kind to my children and remembered our order easily.

My family and I just left The View restaurant for Mother’s Day brunch and had the best experience or my first Mother’s Day. The buffet had an excellent assor**ent of food. We were also lucky to have a fantastic waiter, Andrew E. He was great about checking in to make sure our drinks were filled and that we didn’t miss the dessert bar. I highly recommend coming here for an amazing experience with a view that can’t be beat.

Came here for Easter brunch and the GF French toast was so good we came back for Mother’s Day. The hotel staff seemed overwhelmed with the volume of guests—the valet took a while coming and going, and it took a while to get seated. The food was good, though, save for some undercooked veggies. Our server, Andrew E, was attentive and friendly. I recommend it but hope they will have more staff in the future so that there’s not so much lag.

Our kids got us the weekend up there for my wife’s birthday and the whole deal was just an onslaught of beauty and service and heaven! Every time we went to The View, Lyn Alve and her crews took care of us. From the dinner Renee served us to Hayley’s attentions from behind the bar to Andrew’s intuitive Birthday Bloody Mary’s at breakfast to Yaher’s flexibility and resourcefulness at the pool - we were attended to and pampered for the better parts of three days. Kudos all around and thank you all for making my wife’s birthday exactly as good as she deserves. Keep doing what you’re doing! Praises!
