I thought I was lucky because I was given an upgraded room without any explanation of the price, but when I checked out, I was told that I had not paid the full amount for the room, and I had to pay an extra 100 euros. Also, the walls were thin and I could hear the voices from the next room and outside, which was terrible. Please be careful.

All the staff are pleasant. Perfect welcome. Clean room, the bedding is not the best and the soundproofing is very poor, both towards the other rooms and the outside. Breakfast not worthy of a 4 star. Great location, close to the old town and the port.

We found this property while we were driving on the highway. Upon arrival we discovered that it is the annex of the main hotel. The price charged for a room on the ground floor in the middle of the buildings does not correspond to the services provided considering that if you want to have breakfast you have to go outside the structure (imagine if it was raining or in winter), they asked for 35 euros for each night of parking for the 'outdoor car! Not even in the center of Milan. Pretentious and Not Recommended

Friendly welcome, large room but a little noisy. On the other hand, the furniture and bathroom are in excellent condition. Standard breakfast, too bad there is a lack of local products (the oil was Tuscan). Covered parking downtown is probably worth the cost. A few steps from the center and the seafront.

We had good expectations but unfortunately they were not met by a structure with good potential but with a service that needed improvement, especially from the point of view of kindness and attention in management and care for the customer and his requests. I am convinced that this structure will improve because there are margins, both for the structure which is still beautiful externally and internally but above all for the location, but at the moment we are not there. no. Perhaps the judgment is a little harsh but the completely deaf and even at times arrogant staff's approach to the visitor's needs contributed to the negative judgment. What is missing is that touch of humanity and attention that is necessary in my opinion in the hotel industry.

The hotel is very close to the historic center and there are actually 2 hotels, the Villa Alberti and the Mediterraneo opposite. The receptionists were very friendly and the room was good and the breakfast, very pleasant, was served at the other hotel. Parking was easy and paid too. Excellent location and it was a great choice. Very easy to take the bus to Portofino and the train to Cinque terre. This is very important

Let's start by saying that the Villa is the annex of the Mediterraneo hotel. Let's continue with the only positive note: the kindness of the staff. Stop. We enter the room and the hole where you insert the magnetic card doesn't work, so you have to lift the relay. Dust...I'll leave the photos, I won't express myself, damp and mold stain on the bed, ditto...I'll leave photos. Broken shower head and attached toilet. And last but not least, the shelf is just a foot above the headboard where we banged our heads all night as soon as we turned over and where it was impossible to lean on our backs to watch TV because we risked hitting the Coppino. Let's finish with breakfast. Good, there's nothing to say, it's a shame that 'international' dishes, eggs, etc. have to be paid for and what a charge!!!!!!

Quality of service here is very common, from the booking process (mistake from the hotel staff when booking by phone) until service on the spot. A room in the next Villa Alberti was proposed, just renovated but with paper walls… we could enjoy the good mood and loud laughs of the American people staying in the room next from us, and experience a kind of “spring break party” in the middle of the night. The 2 hotels Mediterraneo and Villa Alberti are just in the middle of a busy street, so it is not quiet at all. We were proposed to visit another room… but no one showed up eventually to do so, so we stayed in our room. Good cooking for dinner we admit, but very ordinary breakfast. Many other details not worth mentioning here, except maybe the surprising “va fan culo” by the man on the hotel private beach because we asked to change the place. Maybe these spots are not LGBTQ friendly? It would be better for everyone to know beforehand. Of course we cannot recommend this “4 stars” hotel
