We arrived for one night after a long day. We were tired and room had to be changed due to at end first floor near road.
Entertainment kept us up but did end by 11 pm
Food was not great since we don’t like ioriental.
Breakfast was ok but all good cold.
Reservation was all inclusive
Invoice said dinner Feb 10
Breakfast and lunch Feb 11.
We missed lunch due to check out at 1 pm. Should not be on ********* invoice that way
Sorry wouldn’t advise others of this place or come back

The facilities are lacking since I think they could improve the hotel bar area, the beach club is good, the cleanliness is good, the food is good. If I would return

We very much enjoyed our stay at Castillo. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a great holiday. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and comfortable. It was a little noisy at night as our room was right above the lobby where the entertainment was until about 11 pm but it had a lovely big terrace that we sat out in every evening and morning. The food was very good and although it was buffet style, they had theme nights which was fun. The best thing about this hotel is their beach club with a shuttle that runs about every 30 min. It’s a quick 5 min drive. The beach is gorgeous and was t too busy. They have a buffet at the beach club which is excellent. The bar service at the beach is the best we have had. Being right in the little town of Santa Cruz was great to walk to shops, markets and many different restaurants that had amazing food. We will definitely go back to this lovely hotel. Thank you!

Staff was very friendly,rooms were veey clean.Freddie the shuttle driver to the beach club was a gentleman. Love the hotel location .over all a great stay.

Only a few foreign tourists, most were Mexican tourists which I never would have guess. Of the foreign tourists were mostly Canadian. Had a good time!

Our room was clean but very musty smelling. The beds weee comfortable. The food was a buffet which was sometimes questionable.
The location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach club was amazing and made the whole experience feel worth the accommodation choice.
