Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica

The hotel room was cleaned regularly and to a high standard. Very helpful and supportive staff. No homeless people around the hotel area. Coffee maker was not available in the room but it was available in the lobby area. Our room was beach-facing and we recommend it to other guests as the view was very scenic.

One of the worst Hyatts I’ve stayed in. They have odd practices of charging hidden extras everywhere. Also there is about $40/night tax and $60/night valet fee for parking your car. The room had zero amenities. No plates, no cups, no mugs, no cutlery, bare fridge. No kettle. If you ask for something they charge about $9 to bring it to the room and don’t forget to tip everyone on top for something that should have been there anyway. A pathetic hotel. The bar, restaurant and pool are a joke. I’m embarrassed for them.

Had to wait for 2-hours after official check in time for a room. One elevator was out of order for the entire period of our stay. Bathroom ammenities were not replenished, had to call for soap. Really disappointed, not what one expect from a Hyatt hotel.

Hyatt in other countries is absolutely different, this one really falls short of the standard. The location is good the rooms are decent. Service : They say no to all requests. The hotel deposit freezes funds for a long time
