The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk service was excellent!! It was close to the beach so it was easy to go sightseeing. I'd like to use it again if I have the chance to go to Santa Monica!

The location and facilities are not very cost-effective in Santa Monica and are not recommended. Because I booked a king bed room with a sea view, I naturally got a room on the top floor. Fortunately, I brought enough coffee drinks and a small electric pot. The brand of toiletries provided in the room is not that good. After most five-star hotels have switched to first-line brand skin care products, I was really surprised to encounter such a no-name brand (3000-4000 per night). I don’t need it anyway. The most intolerable thing I encountered was that I just asked if I could add a coffee table and 2 chairs to my room so that I could watch the sunset, but I was scolded loudly by the front desk. I didn't realize at once whether I was a guest or not 😂 Fortunately, Ctrip's customer service was very efficient in solving the problem. After understanding the situation, they handled it very satisfactorily. The hotel also apologized in time and put the tables and chairs in the room. inside. But why can't we talk properly in the first place? The second thing is that on the second day after check-in, there was a conflict among the hotel staff (a strike). At 7 o'clock, the alarm (fire alarm, ambulance and police car) was heard. My husband ran downstairs wearing a bathrobe...it was a false alarm. However, after communicating with Ctrip customer service, the hotel also expressed its apology and compensation. Overall, 4,000 per night is not worth it! Why not look at the other 2000-3000 options on the same street.

The hotel is clean and has good service. The only drawback is that the hotel allows guests to bring dogs, but not cats. This is very strange. Is there discriminatory treatment in the pet world? ! We brought a cat, and the front desk said that the hotel allows dogs but not cats. This is a new rule. At our request, the result was not bad. After consulting the manager by phone, the front desk agreed that the cat could stay this time, but the implication was that the cat could not be brought next time. The hotel has the right to make rules, but it is still recommended that the hotel should not discriminate against cats and give cats the same treatment as dogs. We think that the practice of extending differential treatment to the pet world is not advisable.
