Super 8 by Wyndham Santa Rosa

I have not stayed at this franchise for decades due to the unpleasant experience of the past. However, from checking in to checking out, ladies working there were exceptional attentive, respectful, and so friendly that it made for an unforgettably pleasant stay!
Americas Best Value Inn Santa Rosa

The most important things about a hotel when I'm just looking for a place to sleep while traveling across country are: 1. Is the room clean? - YES, our room was nice and clean. 2. Does the room smell OK? - YES, our room did not smell old or stinky. If anything, it smelled too clean (i.e., bit of a bleach smell). 3. Is the bed comfortable? - YES, our beds were clean and comfortable with nice pillows. Sure the place looks hammered, and a train did go by during the night, but the staff were friendly, and it was inexpensive. I've stayed at several hotels in Santa Rosa over the years...this place is pretty good value.

Holiday Inn Express Santa Rosa
4.1/545 Reviews
Standard ”Holiday Express” stay. The best surprise is no surprise, as their slogan says. Clean, comfortable, staffed by competent, friendly people. Only one item stood out: the scrambled eggs they served for the complimentary breakfast. They were absolutely and unmitigatedly foul. I have never tasted such wretched scrambled eggs. I have no idea how they made such disgusting stuff. Powdered eggs, I might guess. They must have been cooked for over an hour, ghastly texture, and on and on. One bite was all I could do. UGH!
Hampton Inn Santa Rosa

Had a fine stay at this hotel. The room was surprisingly bigger than most other Hamptons and Hiltons we've stayed at. The breakfast, as at most Hamptons, is well maintained and stocked and sufficient (I know, not the highest praise for a breakfast - but as breakfasts go it'll do). Their attempts at room darkening blinds are appreciated but a bit of a miss as we usually have to make a pillow fortress to block light from getting in at sunrise (or even from the parking lot). By now you are wondering why such a good review? The staff. Friendly, welcoming and very helpful. In this case we have to single out Andrea and Eva. They were great at assisting with our check in and helped make our stay a delight. To sum up. A good solid place to stay with great people. Definitely recommend Hampton Inn Santa Rosa.
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

Passing through for one night with a small dog. Comfortable, clean room with all amenities - fridge, microwave, hair dryer, breakfast, etc. Laminate flooring which is much nicer and cleaner for a pet-friendly room. Nearby grassy areas to walk dog. Keep in mind that this is an older, budget motel, but perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay again.
