We booked on line as we just needed a place to stay overnight having been to a wedding. Without a doubt the most unfriendly staff we have ever experienced, no hello, welcome....just "your name". It took forever to get signed in and during the time the man was apparently putting information into the computer, he never looked up or spoke a word until he said, "I need your driver's license and credit card"! The first room we were given on the first floor looked decent enough but the wall thermostat was broke and it was quite cold in the room. We went back to the front desk and requested a different room again on the first floor as there are no elevators. The lighting in the room was very strange and the room was so plain and 'sterile' with no pictures on the wall, no refrigerator or microwave, just gapping holes in the furniture where they would go. The phone didn't work and the mattress was okay but the pillows were approximately 16" square and lumpy. There were four on the bed. The bathroom water pressure was almost non-existent with just a small stream coming from the faucet and it wasn't very hot. You could hear people through the walls and actually make out what they were saying. I needed a hairdryer but was told the hotel doesn't offer hairdryers even though it said each room had them on the website. The two bath towels were very thin. It did look like this particular room had recently been remodeled as the vinyl flooring looked new as did the baseboards and paint. Also, the molded one unit bathtub surround also looked new and there were grab bars. We complimentary breakfast was mediocre but it served it purpose. If you're just looking for an inexpensive absolutely no frills place to lay your head then this will probably work. We couldn't wait to get on the road.
