Hotel E San Basilio

Let me start by saying that there was no hot water and internet and this should already be pointed out immediately especially for the first. For the internet they reply saying that it is available a few steps away at the hotel casa grande without however saying that the entrance to that hotel is subject to a fee (which is absurd in my opinion given that the hotels are affiliated).

Hotel very central, but with tranquility, with a colonial charm, very clean and with good service. The negative are the current conditions of the city, with continuous power cuts that negatively affect a comfortable stay. The breakfast is very good but no lunches or meals are offered. When the tourist situation improves, this hotel deserves to be promoted. It is simple, comfortable, without unnecessary luxuries and with an excellent location.

I stayed for about 12 days and it was a great experience. All the staff are friendly and they made our trip to Santiago a truly great moment. I loved reading in the rocking chairs. The place is clean and cozy and I would definitely come back with all the staff. wonderful staff

Hotel San Basilio is a super good option for people who want to enjoy an experience in the historic center of Santiago de Cuba. With a super attentive, friendly and cordial treatment and with impeccable hygiene. I have no complaints about anything in the hotel, just improve the hot water in the bathroom, other than that, nothing else. Always the impeccable room and everything super clean. Sometimes we tend to look for more renowned options when visiting a city hotel and not having availability, we find places like San Basilio that made our days in Santiago more pleasant and enjoyable.
