Perfect location. Clean facility. Fast check-in. This is a safe and hygienic hotel. I was happy to be able to stay at a really nice accommodation after finishing the pilgrimage!

El hotel está fuera del centro de la ciudad, por lo que hay que andar un trecho desde el Obradoiro. Es pequeño, antiguo, incómodo y el personal no muy agradable. Como era el hotel concertado para el final del Camino no podíamos elegir pero desde luego no creo que vuelva a este hotel. Tuve suerte que me dieron la habitación del ático por lo que me evité el ruido del intenso tráfico de la calle en la que está situado. Pero no era nada cómoda para moverse por ella y no se podía guardar la ropa. El baño es pequeño e incómodo. La señora que no atendió en la recepción no fue muy agradable, parecía molesta por tener que trabajar y atender a tanto peregrino.

It’s a terrible place to stay. After walking the Camino staying in this ‘hotel’ spoils your entire experience. The room was dark, the ‘furniture’ old and nothing more than a chair to sit on. Don’t waste your money here unless you are on a very tight budget

We spent six nights in this hotel and have nothing but praise for this budget hotel. It is central to all the major attractions of the city of Santiago .The bus from the Airport stops just 5minutes from the hotel on the same street, and only cost €1 .A taxi fare is €23. The staff were very helpful and friendly and had good English. The bedroom was spacious and the beds very comfortable. The one problem i had was with the bathroom .The bath -shower had a 50cm edge to climb over and for older people could be a problem, with knee or hip problems. The breakfast was ok with the usual cold meats ,cheese ,and cereal. if you book this hotel and arriving late make sure you have the code for the door as the reception shuts down at 11pm and 3pm Sundays. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Santiago, especially if they are on a budget or not.
