Great location on rua do franco, but check in was abit of a faff.

A really beautiful room. Well-maintained and clean. Contact with the owner is entirely via WhatsApp and email. Entry to the hotel and the room are all digital. We had a room at the front, and we certainly felt it. There was a lot of noise on the street.

Excellent location, close to the cathedral and many restaurants, yet quite quiet once you close the shutters. The room has modern amenities blended with historic ambience, with stonework and historic features.
Staff is not usually on-site, but they are quick to respond to questions.

This was a great affordable easy hotel option. The staff sent good communications and provided entry codes. There was no physical interaction with the staff since we checked in and out outside of operating hours. The building was in a cute safe location and taxis are familiar with the area which is nice. Lots of cute bars and restaurants in walking distance.
