Wonderful staff. Great advice on where to buy artisanal cheese and fresh bread, and where to buy a coffee. Helpful with getting our luggage to our room, and helped us plan our travel to Sarria.

From the beginning, host Jose did ALL he could to make our stay wonderful. It was perfect. In addition to the room and price being a happy surprise, Jose was a fount of information. He gave us directions to the ONLY coffee shop that opens at 7 a.m., Miquez, advised we go to Paradiso for breakfast and told us about the seafood market. Our room terrace over looking lavendar colored flowers was less than 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral of Santago. Like mini alleyways in Santiago, this one was not facing outdoor dining and drinking bars filled with loud laughing and talking late into the night. We really enjoyed our stay in Casa da Balconada Pension.

Nice guest rooms in a charming 14th? Century building in old town, only steps from the end point of camino de santiago. Staff was extremely helpful - did our laundry after we finished the camino (for free) and arranged taxis for us. Really enjoyed our stay.

Unbeatable location
We had a perfect one night stay at Casa da Balconada. The location couldn't be better, the room was ideal, and Jose was the best host, dealing with every request quickly and helpfully. Highly recommended!
