Wasn't able to check-in early or leave bags a hotel. In the morning, there was no receptionist to ask for a taxi or help. But the hotel was clean and close to the center.

The staff was amazing and I was able to rest and recover from walking El Camino. We had tea and hot drinks accessible. The location of the hotel was perfect and the room was so comfortable. I will be back 100 percent

Perfect location for the Camino traveler! Close to the Cathedral, but away from the hubbub. Relax in the well-appointed room, then enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet. Staff members make all the right moves to keep guests happy. Will return!

This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet part of town, yet only a few minutes walk from bars & restaurants. Our attic room was clean & comfortable with a huge bathroom. The breakfast was excellent as was the service. Thoroughly recommended for the end of the Camino.

I stayed here for as the initial start to arriving in Santiago to begin my Camino. The hotel was absolutely charming. My room was spacious, bathroom was a wee bit tight but functional. They provided some amenities, toiletries, hair dryer. The breakfast buffet was the typical continental breakfast, but was delicious and all felt homemade. The location is not in the center of the cathedral so you are away from the hustle and bustle of activity making for a quiet rest. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Let's be honest, Hostal Denike is not a hostal at all, it is in reality a very good hotel, that would deserve either 4 or 5 stars! The location is excellent, just few minutes away from Santiago de Compostela cathedral and from the bus stop to/from the airport; notwithstanding its very central position, the accommodation is also very quiet, since the street is not on the usual tourists/pilgrims path. The room we were given was very clean and large, simply but efficiently decorated, although a small writing desk would make it even better, and the bed big and comfortable. Breakfast was simply great! The icing on the cake though was the service, extremely attentive, friendly and very much customer-oriented. Usually, in my reviews I don't single out individual staff as I try always to more as objective as possible, but for Begoña I must make an exception: her warmth and friendliness were exceptional and worth of a 5-star boutique hotel, making every guest feel special and pampered. Highly recommended!!

Excellent hotel, bright, new, clean and very central. We stayed for 3 nights after our Camino walk and it is and a great base for all sights and restaurants and very close to the Cathedral. Begoña was so nice and helpful with anything we needed. We left early Monday morning and she ordered our taxi and made sure we had coffee and breakfast before we left!! Would definately recommend this hotel.
