Had two wonderful stays here but were very upset and frustrated to be - we felt- ripped off by checking in early 😢
We messaged the hotel a few days before arrival to ask about the arrangements for arriving in the morning- no response. When we arrived the hotel staff had no idea what if any a charge would be to check in early (it was 6am). The room was ready so we took it. Most reputable hotels would either allow an early check in if the room was available, or would be clear on any charge.
We were so annoyed when we checked out to be charged nearly double the nightly rate we had paid, for checking in a few hours early.
Not happy at all, do not recommend, which is a shame as otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
Be clear on your charges and ensure people on reception know what charges are! 😡☹️
