I decided to give this hotel an award commensurate with what I believe its star rating should be. Don’t get me wrong there are many positives, but also in my mind some deal breaker negatives. I think that the ratings system needs to have some worldwide consistency and if this is the case then this hotel should be comparable with the UK budget (or slightly better) hotels. Positives Friendly and helpful staff Beautiful pool and public areas Good breakfast with an amazing outlook of old Thira on the mountain top Excellent in room AC, (an absolute must in these temperatures) Negatives Location of Alia necessitates walking through, not the most sellubr
