Excellent value for money. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main resort. Lovely small hotel , fabulous pool area. Great continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Small resort but plenty of bars and restaurants and close to an amazing outdoor cinema

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Areti Hotel. Konstantinos was very helpful, made us feel very welcome and provided excellent local recommendations. Lovely pool area with plenty of lounge chairs. Great range of breakfast food available. We found the beds a little hard for our liking everything else was great.

Areti Hotel is a rare find! A great base to explore the beautiful island of Santorini. It is located 5-10 minute walk to the Kamari beach and the lively promenade with multitude of shops, restaurants, bars and buses to Fira/ Oia. What makes this hotel so special is the friendly staff who genuinely cares about making your stay a memorable and happy holiday. The hotel is very well managed, clean and nicely decorated, breakfasts delicious, beds very comfortable, the only minus would be the shower area is kinda small but still manageable. The manager Konstantinos is super helpful with his recommendations of best places to visit on the island, always ready to provide info on anything you might need. The lady who takes care of housekeeping is not only keeping the place spotless but also making you feel really welcome. All in all, a great stay and a great value for money!

Lovely place spotlessly clean we had 2weeks and would definitely go back nothing was to much for Konstantinos and lovely barmam Shaun rooms wer cleaned daily / fresh towels staff were friendly we couldn't fault the place it was fantastic pool area clean breakfast was nice / continental all u really need very impressed food was lovely at the bar Shaun was great 👍 meet a lovely couple Lisa/ Andy wot more can we say great holiday xx Gail.Dave .Taylor👍

Positives- Everything Konstantinos and his staff are amazing they go out of there way to ensure you have the best holiday ever . My family feel that Konstantinos and Sean (barman )have become our friends over our 2 week stay . We look forward to seeing you all again in the future This is a place I would definitely recommend . Bit stressful when we arrived as it was almost midnight and there had been a power cut. It’s not a 24-hour reception but we rang Konstantinos who directed us to our room (which was open with the key on the table). The following morning the power was still off but now so was the water. It turns out that a storm had taken out a power line (and the water is pumped to the rooms). Not a lot the hotel could do about it and by around 10.00 am normal service was resumed. From there on it was fantastic. There is very little I can say about The Areti that hasn’t already been said. Far enough away from the main resort to be quiet and peaceful but near enough to be convenient. Mind you being 15 minutes from the airport by bus means you are 30 seconds by air and being on the flight path you have to get used to a steady stream of incoming planes Never an issue with sunbeds regardless of what time of day you went. Apart from a brief rain shower it was extremely pleasant weather with highs of around 29 degrees. Konstantinos was really helpful and gave us a map pointing out the best restaurants and bars as well as a few useful tourist tips. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels can also be changed daily if required. The public areas are kept clean and tidy. The continental breakfast is basic but adequate (although a toaster might be a nice addition). Free safe, fridge and air-conditioning in the rooms. We first visited Santorini about 15 years ago and it was the place that made me fall in love with Greece and especially the Greek Islands. This was our first time back and sadly I think the island has gone from being a jewel in the Mediterranean to a bit of commecialised “Bling.” You can’t stop and look at a menu in Kamari without being accosted by the manager / owner and, whilst we knew prices had increased it was still a bit of a shock to be paying €5.00 for a beer. However, nowhere was this as obvious as in Oia. Minimum drinks spend in the bars overlooking the sea was €25.00 per person (this was not difficult to achieve as a half carafe of house wine was €29.00). Probably wouldn’t come back to Santorini again. Fortunately, there are still so many Greek resorts to visit (we’ve already booked for Parga next year!)

Small, simple and stylish, this is lovely hotel that has a relaxed atmosphere and is 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants etc. Sean who manages the bar is a really great guy. Would definitely recommend.
