The location was good and the room was clean and spacious.

We were not expecting the caliber of excellence at The Vedema Resort. This property is secluded, beautiful, and very special. The staff is outstanding. Joanna and her breakfast team were fantastic. There were so many wonderful servers, and our every need was anticipated and met. Helen and her dinner team at the Alati were beyond belief. A separate review will be posted for them. Housekeeping was impeccable. We were upgraded to an Aegean Suite which was lovely. The pool was almost empty in October but to us it was very pleasant and relaxing. We so enjoyed everything about this property, and only wish I could give it six stars.

Beautiful property with inviting pools, great views, and the best staff. Chrysi the front desk manager was a delight to work with, she really took care of us and made us feel special. Great room with comfortable bed, living room, and great shower. Amenities in the room were top notch. We would definitely return.

We were given one of the best rooms at the resort! It overlooked the swimming pool (2nd floor), had a beautiful view where we were able to see glorious sunrises, the suite was spacious, my daughter had her own area (living room), and it came with its own hot tub on our deck. It had high domed ceilings, filled with many windows, shutters for window coverings, the deck wrapped around our entire suite giving us many different views. We really enjoyed the suite. The customer service from all of the resort employees was outstanding. They were attentive, sincere and knowledgeable. The manager was always mobile and onsite. He was very attentive and cordial. I can’t say enough about how great they treated us. It really made our vacation special. We were there to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from college. The food was great and the chef created custom made dishes as requested. The dishes were tasty, healthy and delicious. The location was central to the small town/village of Megalochori. We were able to walk to several eateries and even a family bakery that had my favorite homemade loukoumi (Turkish delights). We also found a local cave house that was open to the public without charge.

This resort is unbelievable. It is secluded. It is like it’s own little village. The staff was wonderful! From check-in to check-out. We had to check out early in the morning due to our flight and they sent us off with a take away breakfast. They provided us with plenty of water. The pool were gorgeous. This is one of the most beautiful resorts that we have ever stayed in. I would go back in a minute!

We went to a few different islands on our recent Greece trip and this was by far the best hotel we stayed at. From the amazing hospitality, to the 5 star breakfast, serene and calm environment & to the cute location. Everything was perfect. What made this memorable though was the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered was very sweet and had great hospitality. Special shoutouts to: Eri, Pashalina, Ioanna and Panagiotis. These amazing people made it hard for us to leave. I miss them all already! We will definitely be back in the future!

Wonderful stay! The staff and concierge went above and beyond to make accommodations for our stay. Communication top notch. We stayed in the 1 bedroom Villa ocean view which was a beautiful room. The only thing to be aware of is it is a kid friendly hotel and the rooms are adjoining with thin walls. Our first two nights we were pretty jet lagged and was attempting to sleep in but there was a 3ish year old child next door who started the day at 6:30am with not an inside voice and enjoyed the private pool very much. Can’t blame a kid for being a kid so this was not a consideration for the rating just know that there are adult only places in Santorini if quiet and relaxation is a priority.

This is an oasis in a sea of chaos. It is located in a charming and quaint town away from the heavily populated areas. The staff was amazing and super helpful. The facilities are 5 stars and the rooms are 4.5 stars. Highly recommend if you want peace and quiet to visit the busier places.

The second of the five hotels we stayed in during our visit to five islands, and our favourite. We stayed in an Aegian Suite, which gave us a good sized living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The doors from the lounge led to a private area, with table, chairs, sun loungers, and a hot tub/jacuzzi. The view was of an area with some vines, so unremarkable but private. Staff were lovely, service attentive. Two pools, both very nice. The hotel is in a village with several good restaurants - we ate at Raki the first night, then Avlogyros the second. Hotel restaurant looked nice, but quite expensive. We walked to the Heart of Santorini for the sunset. We also walked to Fira one day and Akrotiri the next. Long hot walks! Both places lovely to visit. We got the local bus back both times - a ten minute walk back to the hotel.
