DL Santorini is a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere. It is situated in the middle of the island which makes it convenient for getting around. John, his brother in law, Tasos and the man behind the bar stauros were brilliant hosts and went above and beyond to meet our every need. Everywhere and everything that John suggested to us was great and made our trip so much better as we didn’t have to do any research into where to go and what to do. All 7 days spent in Santorini were perfect and we are really appreciative of their passion for what they do. We would 100% come back here if we came back to Santorini. We are still in touch with John and DL Santorini through social media and will never forget how special they made our holiday.

We have just returned from Santorini and my daughter and partner stayed here. We spent some days at this hotel and we found everyone extremely friendly and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere was very family based and we felt relaxed and welcome when spending some of our days by the pool. The food was freshly made and was amazing!! We were brought water in ice buckets throughout the day, without having to ask. The hotel is next to the airport but the planes taking off wasn't constant and as the island is small, alot of hotels would have planes coming and going but it wasn't a problem or a nuisance. I do recommend the DL Santorini and would definitely stay here. A massive thank you to all the staff for welcoming us and making sure we had everything we wanted while lazing by the pool.

We absolutely loved our stay at DL Santorini. The hotel is small which means that the owners get to know you and are always on hand to answer any questions. In fact they consistently went above and beyond to organise trips, offer rental cars and provide 5* food and drink service. The breakfast options were plenty for a small hotel and it was nice to sit by the pool whilst having this. The menu for lunch and dinner is extensive and the food is amazing (especially the Caesar salad!). Plenty of cocktails too and they are even willing to try and make you alternatives as you request (eg frozen pina colada)! The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. We really liked the hotel and just loved the owners (John & Thasios). DL Santorini is located right next to the airport so you will hear the planes arriving and departing although we did not mind this. There is a bus stop 400m down the road which takes you directly to Thira (capital) for €1.60 pp. from here you can go to anywhere else on the island. We also walked several times to Kamari, which takes about 45-50 minutes. There is a beach that can be reached by foot in about 10 minutes too, so really the location is ideal. We actually liked not staying in the busy areas because it was relaxing when we just wanted a pool day. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again!

I booked here for my boyfriends 40th birthday as he always wanted to go to santorini. The hotel staff (all family which is lovely) are amazing, they cannot do enough for you! The hotel is out of the way from the main hustle and bustle but only a short ride into the busier towns. We loved being able to chill at night and the food is out of this world. The hotel and staff made my boyfriends 40th he never stopped smiling! 100% recommend and we will definitely be back at some point!

Absolutely amazing stay such lovely people running... it best ceaser salad ever ...peaceful friendly place with lovely rooms will be back again ...5 mins to airport but doesn't annoy you ...John the owner one of the best

Amazing family run Hotel. Stuff hospitality is beyond words. Makes you feel like you are at a 5 star posh resort. Food is very good ,actually one of the best we tried on the island. Just 15 min car ride to Fira . It’s close to airport,you can see plane track but rooms a quite soundproof. Would definitely recommend!
