Alta Mare by Andronis

The staff + rooms + food + location + views = perfection. Truly, this place was exceptional! The staff is some of the kindest I have ever come across (greatly appreciated the staff who carried our bags to/from hotel - they definitely get a workout, the reception staff who helped us without whatever we needed during stay - it was like they could read our minds anticipating our needs, the room service and pool staff were kind and prompt with their service). The room was the perfect size and our room’s terrace area with hot tub, lounge chairs and dining table/chairs was the perfect hide out during the day where we could relax taking in the views. Santorini may be beautiful but with so many people we learned to explore early and late and take advantage of our terrace during the day - it was absolutely perfect. The food was wonderful, with a nice variety to choose from, eating breakfast on our terrace each morning was a great way to start each day. I highly recommend this hotel!!

The Alta Mare is in the perfect location in Oia! The hotel is gorgeous, the staff is so professional and friendly, and overall this was my favorite hotel that we visited in Greece! The pool is beautiful and I loved having a hot tub on our porch for the chilly evenings. This hotel is within walking distance of the prettiest sites in Oia and so many incredible restaurants and shops. I would absolutely stay here again!

Everything is amazing! Staff, location, service, food, views, EVERYTHING! Cannot say enough good things about this location. We stayed at 4 hotels on our two week journey and by far this was the best stay. No competition. One I will remember for life

EVERYTHING MORE THAN PERFECT!!

Not only was the location perfect with the perfect view from our suite but the staff were the most welcoming and warm people you could meet. The hotel exceeded itself on lots of levels especially the delicious breakfast served everyday, the cleanliness of the room…and above all else their thoughtfulness in helping us celebrate my birthday and our anniversary by giving me flowers and two cakes for each occasion with handwritten cards expressing their best wishes to us. Would definitely go back in a heart beat. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay very special.

Stop looking at reviews for hotels for Oia, and book Alta Mare by Andronis!!! Take it from a Type A planner who did tons of research before my vacation to Greece - stop searching and book this hotel. My husband and I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate our very belated honeymoon and the hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. This is honestly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and I travel fairly often and typically stay at nice hotels. The staff were kind and extremely responsive. They were available by WhatsApp, and seamlessly and quickly helped arrange taxis and reservations. The room itself was beautiful, with nice extra touches including a pillow menu, huge closet with a large full-length mirror, complimentary bottled water (you can't drink the tap water in Santorini), and more. The breakfast delivered to your room every morning was delicious. I am gluten-free and they were incredibly accommodating. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's right by everything in Oia, but still feels very secluded and romantic. You're a 2-min walk from the bus stop if you'd like to explore Santorini. Another HUGE plus is that you get access to the other beautiful Andronis properties in Santorini. The Andronis Arcadia is a quick 10-minute walk and the staff made us reservations for sunset drinks, massages, and a pool day at the property. We were treated so well at this sister property and it was nice to experience another hotel.

My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon. The staff are all so nice and welcoming! From helping carry our luggage from our drop off point, to arranging a taxi transfer at 1:00am from a local town. Panos was incredibly helpful sending us multiple recommendations for not only Santorini but Paros, our next island location. My husband is deaf and the staff were very open to help communicate the best way possible since the accents made it difficult for him to lip read. The breakfast brought to your room was exceptional! They made the whole process of ordering breakfast the night before very easy. The location in Oia is prime! It is easily accessible to the bus station. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience!

My husband and I have just returned after a 4 night break celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. From the minute we arrived the service was excellent. We stayed in a Romance Suite (Ikarus). Absolutely loved our room. The staff really couldn’t do enough for us. I had researched and planned our trip but had I not they were willing to help out. When I booked I loved the thought of being served breakfast on our balcony but that was the only let down for me. The food was cold and juice felt watered down. We visited sister property Adronis Arcadia’s pool every day. Stunning pool with a Caribbean vibe. Food and drinks were very expensive here though. We had breakfast here the last 2 mornings too. Highly recommend this property and loved the WhatsApp facility. It was literally like having a helper at your service 24/7. I messaged numerous time during the trip and the response time was unbelievably quick. Thankyou for making our anniversary amazing x
