It was a lovely stay for all my family and friends. The staff were very friendly, they also recommended nice places to visit which was beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfy, Pool was very nice and clean.They also helped us to book taxi and cruise. We had a wonderful time.
I will definitely recommend it to others.

A little mixed in terms of this hotel.
The manager is very nice at reception and the rooms are pretty good if you close your eyes to the spiders in the beds. I got stung every night. Outside, the large swimming pool is great, there are inflatable mattresses available but the hot tub is full of dead flying insects, you have to ask the bartender to remove them with a landing net if you want to swim because they are not This is not done by the hotel. The breakfast is industrial, the cold meats are not good apart from the bacon and the 2 ladies who manage the buffet are constantly scolding us. It's very unpleasant to have the impression of being taken for thieves. If you are unfortunate enough to want to take some fruit with you when leaving, she will remind you to order. Around the hotel there is not much to do except if you walk along the beach where you will find restaurants and shops. We had a water cut at the hotel. Nice not being able to wash after a horse ride the same day and having to wait until midnight for the water to be restored

Quieter area, VERY WELL CONNECTED with public transport, very close to the coast and the ruins of Akrotiri. Very good, The staff we're nice, the pool and restaurant was nice, the room was nice, I highly recommend it 😀 plus it had a tennis court and for people who love planes, they pass right above the hotel and from the balcony you can see the runway! Very cool! The only downside, was that is wasn't very clean in the pool, overall Very good! :)

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Makarios sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind recht schön und geräumig, das Bad war hervorragend bis auf den Punkt im folgenden. Negativ: - nach dem Duschen ist jede Menge Wasser auf dem Boden, weil die Spritzschutz viel zu kurz ist bzw sich nicht schließen lässt - Toasts an der Poolbar sind (unnötig) günstig und spärlich belegt: ich zahle gerne mehr, wenn ich dann auch noch eine Scheibe Tomate und etwas Salz und Pfeffer bekomme und nicht nur eine Scheibe Käse+Turkey - Wasser im Outdoor Jacuzzi sah alt aus und nicht einladend (gelbliche Färbung), Pool-Wasserqualität war gut - es fehlen "do not disturb"-Hänger für die Türen.

We stayed at the Makarios Hotel for a week and had a standard 3-bed room with a small balcony. The room was very clean, the towels were changed daily. Very nice pool, it's about a 10-minute walk to the sea. The gentleman at reception deserves special mention! Incredibly helpful, always friendly and patient, speaks 5 languages ​​- a dream!
