Fantastic sunset view, excellent service but disappointing room which is old and unventilated. Needs a refresh to do justice to the price.

Generally it’s a bit disappointing, probably we thought Santorini would offer the service on par with its reputation as a tourist paradise.
The sea view was scenic and magical and the hotel located in a good spot where not many tourists can access so it was more tranquil than Oia.
However, the hotel room was not that great as expected. The amenities are a bit old and the designs were not thoroughly thought-through (eg the placement of the bed made people easy to trip and the lights of the bed were placed too low that hit our heads.
The staff may be too busy to remind us to order breakfast and forgot to make our breakfast so we had no breakfast except the leftover breads.

The room is a bit far from the town of Fira, but it's quiet and the facilities are sufficient. The only thing about hygiene is a bit worrying. The sheets on the second floor were covered in dirt. It felt like they hadn't been occupied for a long time and they hadn't been changed. The hotel is in a good location with a wide view. Breakfast is delivered to the room, and the variety is also very rich.

We had the most amazing week here. I have never been to Santorini before but I have absolutely fallen in love with the island. The staff at Ilioperato were incredible, friendly and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was perfect and delivered each morning with a smile 😃. The views Amazing. I have so many beautiful photos and memories. Stay here for the view, one of the best in Santorini. Breakfast served in your room rather than the restaurant area, perhaps because end of season and a bit chilly in the shade first thing. Choose time and meal one day before. Food was good with a decent choice. Could have done with more coffee though. Our room had limited wardrobe space or drawers, whereas our friends room had a double wardrobe. Comunal areas were nice. We would go back again inspite of a few issues. Depending on your room, stairs down are above the room and can be noisey early in mornings or late at night.

This property is truly spectacular with exceptional service! Absolutely breathtaking and incredibly relaxing. Walk to Fira for nightlife was doable, but a decent walk.
