It’s great to watch the sunset on your own terrace (the hotel offers red wine) and the breakfast at the hotel is great! The hotel service is very good, the reception is patient and meticulous, introduces the nearby restaurants and sightseeing spots, and helps to contact the next day's chartered car (tours to the red beach, black sand beach, blue-top church, winery, etc., including lunch, directly to the boat dock ). The hotel facilities are very good, the small terrace has a small pool that can be soaked, a capsule coffee machine, a small freezer, dehumidification equipment, and a shower. When they strolled the next morning, they arrived at their affiliated hotel. The top floor and the pool on the top floor were very nice.

The room and the scenery are beautiful! You can sit outside the room and watch the sunrise and sunset. The room facilities are good, there is a bread machine and coffee capsule machine, and slippers! The fly in the ointment is that the bathtub is outdoor, not very clean, can't take a bath. And the mini bar has to charge for everything (all so expensive hotels TT) 🔔 Service: Especially good! The staff's attitude is super good! Check in to give us an upgraded room, say hello in advance to the type of breakfast we want to eat, and send it to the room the next day. Also sent us a glass of champagne per person! And because the Oia road is very difficult to walk, we also asked the hotel to help send our luggage to the station, the service is really 💯! 🧹 Hygiene: Very clean and clean! The whole room is fragrant, the bed is super soft, very comfortable!

We arrived to Santorini via ferry and were greeted at the port by the hotel's driver who helped us with our bags and had us in our way in no time. The driver was very friendly and told us a bit about the island and some of the towns we drove through. When we finally arrived in Oia, things started to get a bit strange. The hotel's porters had not yet arrived at the pickup spot so our driver waited with us until one of the porters arrived. The porter picked up our luggage and literally started running down the path without saying a word to us. We looked at the driver confused and he told us to follow him. Not used to the heat and uneven walkways we struggled to keep the porter in sight as we ran after him. Not a very welcoming first experience in Oia but we managed to keep sight of the porter and follow him to the hotel. Once at the hotel, we had a much warmer welcome by the reception staff, who got us checked in, gave us some info about activities and restaurants and shows us to our room. The photos of the room and view really do not do this place justice. Whitewashes walls and sun drenched balconies overlooking Amoudi Bay and the caldera. It's unlike anything I have seen before and something out of a dream! The hotel itself is pretty much right in the middle of Oia. It's a short (but not always quick due to crowds) walk to many of the best restaurants and shopping. The hotel is so picturesque that many people walking the path down to the bay would actually stop and take photos of the hotel and surrounding buildings that did the hillside. Unfortunately, the area is so picturesque that it draws huge crowds of people, especially at sunset. We knew it would be busy, but we were not prepared for how busy it was. The walking paths that go to and from the hotel would get so dense with people lining up for photos that you literally had to push through to get where you were going. We almost missed a dinner reservation because the paths were so congested with foot traffic one evening. That said. The hotel itself is a good respite away from the crowded public areas. While the reception staff, and the staff at the pool and restaurant were all fantastic, our experiences with some of the other staff were not great. When leaving the room in the morning we would often pass cleaning staff and other staff from the hotel and we would smile, or say good morning only to be met with silence at best and at worst a glare. At one point during our stay, we paid to have some laundry done and we were sitting out in our patio when the clean laundry was delivered. The lady who brought it over seemed annoyed and inconvenienced. I offered a tip and said thank you and she just frowned and walked away. Now I know that there is a language barrier, but a smile and a nod can go a long way. I was surprised by the lack of courtesy that some of the staff members had toward guests, especially given the hotel's high price point. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but i don't think

Me and my boyfriend stayed here and had the most magical time! The hotel welcomed us with roses and balloons in our room since it was my birthday, it was my boyfriends idea but the hotel planned and set up everything! The staff was lovely and helped us book EVERYTHING! They had the best recommendations for dinner, tours, etc… definitely made our vacation infinitely better :) Esperas is located right towards the edge of Oia town, the more authentic side of Oia with the original cobblestone roads and the hotel even has the original architecture in their cave rooms! The hotel feels more like a luxurious family home than a hotel business, everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are cozy and are decorated with original Greek art and furniture from when the caldera was first being built up. We definitely got a more cultural experience than we would of if we had stayed at one of the chain luxury hotels more towards the center of Oia, we were perfectly close to town but outside of the bustle so we still get some piece and quiet. And we were blown away by the sunset view truly it was so nice to have our own space to see the sunset and the caldera, Oia gets too crowded during this time to even enjoy the sunset all we could focus on we’re peoples sweaty limbs rubbing all over us and we struggled to look over heads to see a glimpse of the sunset. Bottom line we loved our stay and will definitely be staying here again! Can’t get better than Esperas :)

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days on our honeymoon. The hotel arranged a seamless transfer from the airport for us. Upon arriving at the hotel I was speechless at the stunning views from the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and eager to make your stay perfect. The room was large and very comfortable. We really liked the shower as it felt like you were showering in a little cave. The room provided lots of amenities . We really enjoyed the Bluetooth sound system in the room which was a surprise. Our balcony had a large hot tub and amazing views of the water below. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast which was served to us each morning with a large variety of options. We also really enjoyed spending time at the hotel pool. The service was excellent and the views are breathtaking. We booked a junior suite for our stay. We were in the suite number 1, which is located at the top of the property just below the reception. Some of our balcony wasn’t as private as we excepted as this is a perfect spot in Oia for a sunset and many people gather on the walkway above. This didn’t bother us, but the rooms on the lower levels appeared to be more private if that is something you are looking for. We are thankful to all of the staff for the amazing service and we highly recommend this hotel. It was a perfect start to our honeymoon in Santorini. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Booked this for our Honeymoon last week for 7 nights. - When a couple is coming for Honeymoon it would be a nice touch to have some complimentary Wine (even a cheap bottle) and a nice message upon arrival. I emailed you in advance informing you it was our Honeymoon. Upon arrival there was nothing. I had to ask George to do this and the cheapest bottle he could provide was €60 which I found astonishing considering I seen in Supermarket the next day sparkling wine for less than €20! We didn't even drink all the Wine George provided as it was not nice. - Our bedsheets where not changed the whole week we where there. And we had to ask George a few times for new towels and soaps. In a normal Hotel you don't need to do this as rooms are serviced daily by staff!  - Our breakfast was often served in paper trays. And the menu was quite limited for Breakfast. Only 3 options from KooKoo. We basically ate the same breakfast for 1 full week. Unfourtuantly, this meant that the accomadation didn't have that top class resort feel to it that you get when paying over €500 per night in other resorts suitable for Honeymoon! - We thought there would be catering staff serving the romantic breakfast every morning. But it was George dropping it off often in paper trays, and still in plastic bags. and also George doing the cleaning and maintainence. Again, this took away from the top class resort feel for the place Unfourtuantly. - There was a plug socket out near the bedroom, and dripping from a light in the bathroom. Dangerous.. and again- the accomadation did not feel like a top class resort you expect on Honeymoon and at €500 per night.  - Everything George recommended was more expensive than what I could arrange myself. For example- The wine as noted. And also Boat tour which I got for €800 private tour, but George quoted €1,100 for private. - George requested we pay all room balance in cash! Again- This is not how top class Honeymoon resorts should work. When on Honeymoon I don't want to be pestered about large cash amounts! Credit Cards are the norm. And also the Taxi to and from Airport was by cash which I was not made aware of before booking (I would have brought cash if you told me in advance).  We did still leave George a nice tip and a bottle of wine as he was very helpful and carried our bags to the Taxi which we appreciated. All in all- Not the ”exclusive resort” its made out to be. Excellent sun set views though!
