Huating Hotel (Sanya Bay Coconut Dream Corridor)

I never imagined that my highly anticipated Sanya trip would be completely ruined by this hotel! When booking, I specifically read reviews that said it was "quiet and comfortable," but after checking in, I discovered that there was a large construction site right across from the hotel. The so-called "quiet" was a complete lie. I was so bothered by the construction noise from across the street that I chose to leave to escape, thinking I could just bear it. Little did I know that this was only the beginning of a nightmare. After midnight, the construction noise not only didn't stop, but became even more ear-piercing—the roar of heavy machinery and the booming of mixers were incredibly penetrating. Even with the doors and windows tightly closed, the noise seemed to seep into the room through any gaps; there was absolutely no soundproofing. My husband and I tossed and turned in bed, wearing eye masks, earplugs, and even covering our heads with the blanket, but nothing could block out the continuous noise. We watched helplessly as 1 a.m. passed into 2 a.m., and the construction noise showed no signs of abating. The entire room felt like an extension of the construction site; there was absolutely no peace. The feeling of being forced awake by noise while trying to sleep was absolutely maddening. My head was throbbing, and I completely lost my composure. Unable to bear it any longer, I called the hotel front desk. They said there were no other rooms available and they couldn't help us. At 2:30 AM, we decided to escape! We quickly packed our bags, checked out, and started looking at other hotels. I sincerely advise anyone considering staying here to avoid this place! Whether for tourism or business, don't choose this hotel! You'll regret it; it's like paying money to suffer—utter garbage!

Our stay at the hotel left a rather negative impression. First of all, there's a construction site across the street from the hotel, which operates 24/7. The noise was audible even with the windows closed, making it very difficult to rest and sleep. Communication was a bit difficult upon check-in: the receptionist spoke virtually no English and entered our room several times wearing street shoes, which was quite odd and unpleasant. He also took photos of our documents, which raised further questions. The room was significantly smaller than it looked in the photos. Space is very limited, the bed is pressed against the wall, and the wall itself is damaged and looks sloppy. The bathroom is also poorly designed: the toilet is located next to the bed and separated by a sliding glass door, which provides virtually no insulation. The sink is in the room, separate from the toilet. The shower and toilet are combined without a partition, so after showering, water ends up on the floor throughout the entire bathroom area, including the toilet bowl and adjacent items. The hotel does have a laundry room, but it's practically impossible to use: there are only two washing machines in the entire hotel, and they're almost always occupied. Another significant drawback is the cigarette smell. The hotel allows (or at least doesn't control) smoking almost everywhere: near reception, in the elevator, and on the floors. There was no smell in my room, but it was constantly present in the common areas. The overall condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired: everything is quite old, dirty in places, and in need of repair and updating. On the positive side, the air conditioning worked and the friendly receptionist who helped us call a taxi was a real pleasure. Overall, it's okay to spend one night here if necessary, but I wouldn't recommend it for a comfortable stay.

The hotel has convenient transportation, considerate service and clean rooms. The hotel is in the city center and is convenient for any tourist attraction. I like this hotel very much. The hotel decoration style is very good.

The twin rooms are all at the end. If you mind, please go to another hotel. The soundproofing of the rooms is not good. If you don't have a morning trip, you don't mind being disturbed by the noise of other guests leaving the house in the morning. The room has no windows (there are windows but they are next to the building next door, so there is no sunlight or wind, and you can touch the wall when you open the window), and the toilet is right next to the bed. Anyway, it's quite satisfactory. It's all about personal choice
