The St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort

Overall we had a good time at this resort with our elderly family member. Our butler Earl Wu was very helpful and provided us with coconuts when we requested them. He definitely contributed to the quality of our stay. The non-smoking rule was fairly consistently enforced across the resort, for example when I pointed out a guest smoking at breakfast and the staff immediately agreed that's not allowed and instructed the man to stop (although I would've hoped staff would preemptively stop the smokers, for eg there was one instance of a Russian guest smoking by the pool which was disappointing). The restaurant Mingxuan was excellent as well and had some unique flavors. We would definitely consider coming back to the resort if we are back in Hainan. 总的来说，我们和年长的家人在这家度假酒店度过了愉快的时光。我们的管家吴先生Earl Wu非常乐于助人，在我们提出要求时提供了椰子。他的服务无疑提升了我们入住的体验。酒店内禁烟规定执行得还算到位，例如，当我指出一位客人在早餐时吸烟时，工作人员立即表示这是不允许的，并要求该男子停止吸烟（尽管我希望工作人员能够主动制止吸烟者，例如，有一位俄罗斯客人在泳池边吸烟，这令人失望）。明轩餐厅也很棒，菜肴口味独特。 如果我们再次来到海南，一定会考虑再次入住这家度假村。
