Ocean View Resort Yalong Bay Reviews

My extensive research definitely paid off! I chose the perfect first hotel for my Sanya trip. I was a bit worried based on some online reviews, but after two days, it totally exceeded my expectations. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and the location is excellent; you can see the ocean right from the lobby. It has a huge pool and water play area that seamlessly blend into its private beach. While the decor is a bit dated and the facilities are older, the bones of the place are solid. The breakfast buffet was also decent and, for me personally, met my needs. Not far from the hotel are Baishuigu Valley and Yatai Commercial Street, with night markets, BBQ, and restaurants, making dining very convenient. After dinner, strolling back with the sea breeze was both good for digestion and very pleasant. Oh, and the hotel also offers free airport shuttle and duty-free shop buses, which is great. It might have been the off-season, but I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a room with an unbeatable sea view. For this price in Yalong Bay, it's excellent value for money. The front desk staff, especially CC, provided very thoughtful service. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Yalong Bay.

The hotel boasts a great view, with its lobby facing the sea. The waters of Yalong Bay are crystal clear and clean, instantly lifting your spirits. The hotel itself is quite large, and while the facilities are a bit dated (you have to stand in the bathtub to shower), the coconut water at the bar is delicious—much better than what I bought outside. During the day, we caught sea urchins, and in the evening, there was a crab hunting activity where we caught a lot of big crabs, which really excited the kids. There's also a foam party at the pool at 4 PM, perfect for children. It would be even better if they added some music to the foam party.

The hotel is incredibly close to the sea; you can literally walk downstairs and be there. The doorman at the entrance was very welcoming. The mattress in the room was exceptionally soft, and the bed was large. When I opened the curtains, I had a direct view of the ocean – a true sea-view room! There are also entertainment options right next to the hotel's beach, so you can easily enjoy some water activities. The breakfast was good too.

The room was clean and very close to the beach. It's a shame the waves were too strong to go into the water that day. The restaurant had a good variety of dishes and the food was delicious. Dining by the pool in the evening was a great experience, and the complimentary snacks were a nice touch.

This hotel is located at the easternmost end of Yalong Bay, right next to the Underwater World, making it super convenient for water sports. We booked a sea-view king room, which turned out to be a couple's suite – it would be even more romantic if I had my partner with me next time! Facilities: There's a self-service laundry room, but no dryer. It would be great if they could add one in the future. Cleanliness: Very clean, especially the white bedsheets. Environment: Right on the beach, so getting into the sea is very easy. Service: The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, and they even offer travel photography services, which is perfect for capturing vacation memories. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money, highly recommended, and quite popular!

Absolutely fell in love with this European-style hotel! It's so elegant and calming, spending each day by the pool under the sun was pure bliss and incredibly relaxing. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, always ensuring our safety, which made for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. You absolutely must try their amazing photoshoot service! The photographer was super friendly and made the whole session fun and easy. And the photo retoucher was patient, professional, and had an incredible eye for detail, making our photos look exquisite yet natural. Everyone was polite and attentive throughout, making it an excellent experience – definitely no regrets! I'm already planning to bring my family back for another shoot. Highly, highly recommend!

The room was very spacious, but the design was a bit impractical. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was really sharp; my child even cut themselves and bled. Plus, the sink was clogged, though a technician came to fix it pretty quickly. I never met the housekeeper in person, but they were very enthusiastic on WeChat, so overall, it was an okay experience.

The sea view from this hotel is absolutely unbeatable, and it's just a minute's walk to the beach. If you're on vacation, you could easily spend a few days here. The buffet, however, wasn't very good; it would be perfect if they could improve the food.

This hotel offers great value for money in the area. The complimentary amenities are a nice touch for travelers. I really enjoyed the food, which gave it a resort-like feel. The main draw is definitely the high value. The common areas are also very picturesque, making it a truly worthwhile stay.

The scenery is lovely, and we received two complimentary afternoon teas and two free laundry services. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered a complimentary yacht trip for two, which was nice. There were additional activities available on board for 380 or 580 [currency units]. For the parasailing, I'd recommend bringing your own phone to take pictures. There's a shuttle bus service from Phoenix International Airport to the hotel (free one-way airport pickup, not provided by the hotel directly). However, the latest shuttle is at 8:30 PM, so we missed it.

This is our third year staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time. The hygiene was terrible; there were cockroaches crawling in the sink. We won't be staying here again. The low rating is for the hotel itself, as the scenery is beautiful.

The hotel was excellent, and the beach was clean. It was great value for money, especially since I was traveling with my parents. The kids also had their own pool and there were different activities every afternoon. Today was a foam party!
