far more than expect

I spend I very good time in this resort. To arrive there you need to go to the ferry station. You do check in before take the ferri. When you arrive a little car will take you to the lobby to pick up the key. The room was amazing, very big. I requested ocean view and the ocean was in front but no view at all because many trees (I am not complaining, actually I liked it) The bad thing is I found a dead Cockroach in my bed (I didn't complain). And also very hard to find staff speaking English. The island has many activities, but only in a small area its allow to swim and until six pm. ( to swim it's not that great). You will not find Western food. Only some burgers In my opinion only one day it's enough to enjoy this beautiful place

good location , perfect for one night

“Seaside” cottage is in the middle of the island, so clearly no sea in sight, can’t swim anywhere other than in designated areas and a Baoan shouting at you if you swim to “far”. Food places close at 5. You can head to the feeding trough buffet as only option. Don’t go. Hotel itself and staff is nice though. Just not what it’s advertised for

For people who like swim in sea and quiet place. Great nature, beautiful beach. Breakfast was good, foreigners can found what to eat. Room big with interesting design. In general good impression. Just look like that hotel need more care, special gym.

We booked this thinking it was a beautiful island and it definitely was not what we expected. Crowds of people arrived for the day and most of the evening. It was noisy, busy and expensive for everything. One pool was only used for diving and bridal photos and the other was full of kids. Breakfast was not good. A family staying above us in the cottage room kept us awake as the floor was so old and creaky we could hear every foot step and conversation. The staff were very helpful so they tried to help us find places to eat and with little English they tried their best to communicate with us. At 7am the beach was beautiful but not worth the trip. We even left a day early even though we lost money. I wouldn’t recommend this place for expats.

Bungalow very bad sound insulation, we could hear the neighbours upstairs all the time. Island very boring, nothing you can do, no swimming, no walking on the reefs, no thoroughfare as long as you try to get off the beaten track. Food not good. Don’t go unless the only thing you want is to take selfies pretending you are having fun.

Were not allowed to swim and hotel did not want to refund us due to this.

Firstly, we were upgraded to the Coral hotel rooms, which was really nice. (so the review is for Coral hotel). The room is nice, clean and comfortable. The food options at the hotel are quite mediocre however, and seriously overpriced. There aren't restaurants in the evening outside of the hotel so they can charge whatever they want, and the quality is mediocre. But the hotel itself is good.

Beautiful island, not for enjoying a day at the beach. Activities are many and fun, but quietly swimming and sun bathing are not encouraged.

I am sure that this trip might suit some families as there is lots to do (although everything closes at 17:30). However, we could not leave fast enough. It felt like a frantic theme park. It was impossible to relax with the golf buggies hurtling around every corner. We cut our stay short and felt nothing but relief when we left. Never again!

Very beautiful and peaceful vacation

The room is on the mountain, very clean and quiet. Downstairs is the sea. It is very comfortable to walk on the beach at night. The room is also very large, especially the bed, you can lie sideways

The four of us stayed in two wooden houses. We found that one of the air conditioners had a problem. The lobby manager immediately upgraded us to a sea view hotel room. The stay experience was great. The hotel staff provided smiling service and were meticulous and thoughtful. The food on Wuzhizhou Island is expensive, but the breakfast at the hotel is very rich and cost-effective. Recommended 👍
