Spectacular space. Quiet, very clean, with a pool and sun loungers, tennis court, a great breakfast, room with everything you need, and a very comfortable bed. Very friendly and very professional staff. Without a doubt I recommend it.

Great hotel for short trip or stopover, we only stayed one night on route to central Portugal location. Coimbra centre close by (is a car journey) and was lovely to spend a day/night. Lovely rooms and good breakfast. Staff lovely and spoke good English. Very clean and well maintained hotel. Easy parking but location a little out of the way.

Spacious room with large bathroom, cleanliness of the renovated hotel with lots of charm and beautiful garden
Good, varied and tasty breakfast
On the other hand, we were disappointed by the outdated spa which seemed forgotten in the renovation, no towels or bathrobe available…
We slept badly with the very very firm bedding

Hotel known thanks to a popular TV show in Portugal, otherwise I would never have gone there. No complaints. The staff is really pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is super good and the breakfast too with a wide choice of products. The bedding is superb with a 2m wide bed. Unfortunately I did not take advantage of the swimming pool due to the rainy weather, nor the spa. Establishment located 1/4 hour from Coimbra

Beautiful. Excellent service, we were only there one night but it is very nice, I would return without a doubt. Breakfast is good. It has free parking and if you have an electric car you can also charge it for free and you are about 15-20 minutes from Coimbra, a beautiful city.

This was the second time that we stayed at Palacio São Silvestre. We really enjoy it here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is good and allergy friendly and the staff is friendly. And it's a perfect location for some peace and quiet, while being close to the city of Coimbra.
There are a few small things that could use some attention, like the water in the shower turning from cold to hot, then to cold and hot again, or things not hanging straight. But these are no reasons to stay away from this hotel. We will come back when we want to visit Coimbra and the centre of Portugal again.

Whole property felt and looked very luxurious. Wonderful food. Amazing, beautiful pool and pool area.
