My family and I really enjoyed our stay in a one bedroom apartment. It was clean, comfortable, fully-equipped and had ample room for a family of 4. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely stunning - full of beautiful flowers and plants. My teenage boys really enjoyed using the hot tub, pool, sauna and gym. The hotel is centrally located on the island making it very easy to access most of the major sites and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Ponta Delgada. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and accommodating during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Overall, I did enjoy my stay here and I would return. The staff was exceptional and really bent over backwards with a smile to ensure you were happy. The spa was lovely and I enjoyed having private hot springs as part of the hotel experience. The hot springs are 24 hours, so that can’t be beat. I also appreciated they let you do two nights (other places wanted three night minimums) so I could split my time on the island. The breakfast was a nice spread. They actually provided champagne with the drinks, which is more generous than other hotels. I did a dinner with them too that was good. The rooms themselves were modern and clean. My negatives were that it’s off a busy- ish road and, while I grabbed one of the last rooms, I didn’t appreciate that there would be rooms looking into a parking lot in what I was expecting to be a very serene/remote spot. I’d pay extra for a better view/side when booking. A couple notes: I was surprised that this small town is not very pedestrian friendly. There are very narrow sidewalks and a couple roads where drivers are whizzing by. The town needs more crosswalks and speed bumps. You’re better off with a car here. I was also told that if you tip on the receipt, the money goes to the hotel, which I’m hoping they disseminate, but not directly to the person helping you. I’d have some cash for tips … That said, no one ever appeared like they expected tips.

The complex is located in the tranquil village of Capela, a quarter drive from the capital and the airport. A car is a must, but you need it to visit this beautiful island. Our 2-kamerappartement was very spacious and clean. The beds were fine with choice from two kitchens. The hotel is very fully equipped with oven, microwave, Nespresso device (cups for payment) and water cooker with free tea. With no cleaning, you will receive a €3 voucher per day to spend in the restaurant. However, €3 is not worth much in this restaurant, since prices are huge: a cappuccino costs €3.50 here while the prices for coffee are around €1.20 on the island you need to ask yourself for the vouchers, The hotel was very comfortable and it was very comfortable and it was very comfortable and it was very comfortable. The sauna, fitness room and the indoor and outdoor pool were not used, so I can't evaluate this. Sufficient parking space. Coffee to drink between the locals in the Moby Dick cafeteria in the village. Supermarkets Pingo Doce and Continentale nearby car distance.

The hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet given its central location. The blue and white color combination throughout was a nice design choice. The bed was on the hard side, but was actually two beds pushed together so you can fall into the canyon in the middle of the night. The breakfast was ok, the variety of items was the normal selection but it wasn’t very tasty. There is a Spa area that you can reserve access in one hour time blocks. It’s a hot tub, sauna and steam room that also comes with shower and bathroom. The steam room was more of a stink room and so not usable. There is a rooftop pool that was nice. Parking-The listing says that there is free parking but in reality it’s not accessible (at least when I was there) because of random street closures that meant that the street in front of the hotel was inaccessible to cars and I had to park a couple blocks away. On that note a warning that the dense urban center is tough to drive around because of very narrow streets, one ways, and random street closures meant that google maps was nearly useless for navigation that I just got frustrated and parked the car and then walked the rest of the way to the hotel. My room, number 101, had a silly design flaw in that the bathroom walls were glass and so anyone else in the room can see you in the shower or sitting on the toilet. There is fogged glass that only goes 1/2 way up but that doesn’t really address the issue of seeing you or hearing bathroom noises.

It is the best hotel for the whole trip. The hotel staff are warm and the room is very clean. I stayed for three nights, and the new bedding was replaced every day. The room has a good view.

Very nice hotel. The front desk arranged to get my room earlier than 3pm. Staff was super helpful and very friendly. Everyone speaks English. Comfy bed. Burgers at the bar was delicious and breakfast was great. Close to shops, supermarket, gas station and cafe making it a prime location for my first time in Ponta Delgada. It was just a stopover but wish I stayed longer.
