We Love to Stay in the Hotel. Fish evening, Rodizio, Buffet Cabo Verde , the music that is offered is very good. Overall, its a Potential 4 star hotels to improve , , however we were very happy with our stay at the Foya Branca and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We believe it is the extraordinary service of the team that really make this a great place to stay. Also to the General Manager and Team very nice and efficient. We will return to this hotel.

Het voordeel is dat er 3 zwembaden zijn en je binnen 2 minuten op het strand ligt maar verder is dit hotel erg gedateerd. Vanwege de positieve reviews heb ik dit hotel geboekt maar was best teleurgesteld toen we er aan kwamen. Ik denk dat de huisjes/'villa's' wat moderner/nieuwer zijn maar wij kregen een hotelkamer/kamer/appartement en deze waren erg ouderwets. Afgebladerde muren in de gang, deuken in de deur, een oude airco die flink wat geluid maakt, geen warme douche en een slappe straal. Wel waren de kamers schoon en is het personeel aardig en behulpzaam. Ontbijt en diner vonden we niet lekker; koude vis, koude friet, harde pannenkoekjes, vet gebakken eieren. Voor de liefhebbers waren er wel oke broodjes en lekkere soep. Als je niet zoveel geeft om het eten en alleen komt om te slapen, is het wellicht een prima plek. Tot slot; er is niks in de buurt dus huur een auto of neem voldoense contant geld mee voor de taxi (binnen 10minuten ben je in Mindelo).

le personnel de l'hôtel est à l'écoute bien qu'il soit adepte de la manière de vivre capverdienne à savoir "no stress" ; nous manquions de serviettes de bain et avons dû les réclamer à plusieurs reprises. Les chambres dans les bungalows sont très correctes, celles de la partie "collective" également bien que les couloirs et les portes mériteraient d'être restaurées, voire changer. les 2 piscines sont sympa mais il manque cruellement de chaises longues et de coussins. La salle de restauration est jolie et les repas ou buffet corrects sans plus. L'hôtel est un peu isolé par rapport au village mais la promenade sur la plage en contrebas permet un dépaysement total.

C'est un bel ensemble isolé mais qui a bien besoin de restauration. L'aéroport n'est pas loin mais on entend très peu de bruit. Mindelo est à 11 km et l'hôtel dispose d'une navette gratuite. Mais la restauration que c'est triste et lamentable. C'est même honteux pour un tel établissement. Un fois qu'on vous a servi les boissons à table on ne voit plus personne. Certes c'est un buffet, mais on était une quarantaine et personne ne vient voir ce qu'il reste dans les plats. Donc il faut appeler, qu'on vienne voir et attendre, attendre que ça se remplisse. Fautbde lapatioence. Pour le dessert un grand bac de glace et une assiette de frtuits coupés pour , je dirai 6 personnes, donc ça part très vite et faut encore appeler et attendre .............. C'est lamentable

We had a lovely relaxing stay. I have stayed here several times as it is guaranteed to be far from the typical package tour hotel experience I that I dislike. The rooms need some some maintenance but that did not detract from our stay. The grounds are very nice and so are the pools. The staff were exceptional and could not have gone out of their way further if we needed anything , in particular Dercio and his colleague, Antao and Hernany. The breakfast is good and so were evening meals when we ate. The hotel was not too full with amongst others some surfers from Europe staying that have surfed all over the world but come back to Foya Branca often as they prefer surfing here than the Caribbean, Europe and all other surf locations they have been too. I hope to visit the hotel again.

Bel endroit malheureusement on a l’impression que l’hôtel est abandonné…beaucoup de dégât dans les chambres de plein pied suite à la saison des pluies ,mais rien n’a été réparé,le personnel semble livré à lui même ,deux petits déjeuner sans thé….il n’y en avait plus… Une navette vous emmène régulièrement en ville avec un chauffeur plus qu’antipathique. Bien dommage pour autant nous étions un groupe d’amis qui avons adorés le CapVert.

L'hôtel avec son jardin bien entretenu, ses deux piscines, son restaurant en plein air, son coin snack et ses suites pourrait être un endroit de rêve si ..... Sa situation à 10-11 km de Mindelo n'était pas trop excentrée La salle-de-bains était mieux équipée (room service minimum avec deux savons liquide), une seule serviette de bains, aucune tablette au-dessus du lavabo, un verre sale, une douche déglinguée ... Un salon spartiate avec télécommande TV hors d'usage Des indications défectueuses pour retrouver sa chambre (j'ai du faire appel à la personne de l'accueil pour retrouver la mienne) Enfin une partie de l'île TRES éventée !!

Fiquei neste hotel há cerca de 10 anos atrás e as diferenças para hoje são enormes. O hotel basicamente parece ter parado no tempo, poucos hospedes, falta de manutenção e uma notória falta de formação dos funcionários. É fundamental que o ex-libris do hotel, que é a piscina, pois não existem muitas na ilha, tenha manutenção e limpeza. Sou um viajante assíduo, nomeadamente em Cabo Verde, mas este hotel vai ficar-me na memoria como a primeira vez que fiz um check-out, sem ouvir do outro lado um Adeus, um Boa Tarde, um Volte Sempre ou um Obrigado. Nada.... Será necessária formação para isso ?
