The Sarasota Modern, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Really enjoy this stay. Everything was extremely clean in the rooms. Front desk staff are very helpful with whatever you need. Pool and bar area is one of the best I’ve seen in awhile. I will book again in the future.

Great, charming hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room very nice. All around it is really nice. The only thing was they charged me more on my credit card than was on my bill and what had been quoted on *******. I called and the agent from ******* said she spoked to the hotel and Britney told her it would be solved in 3-5 days. I’m not sure why this happened and why it takes so long to be solved. We went to another hotel in Ft. Myers the night before, booked through ******* as well, and had no issues. Perhaps this is a flaw with The Modern. I’m yet to find out if it clears up. My advice, check the charges carefully. It’s a downer considering it’s a very good place.

The staff was AMAZING!!! Jackie and Brittney were so professional!!! They made our trip very memorable!! The accommodations were top tier!! We will definitely be back! The wine in the room was a nice surprise! Love the nostalgia of the entire hotel!

This was probably the worst experience I've had at a hotel in quite a while. I'm kinda shocked its a 4 star. I booked a room through ******* for TD (prefered partner) and when I checked in, the room has a view of the HVAC system on the roof!!!. I asked the staff about a room change, and was told someone would call me. After almost a whole day, no one had called so I went back down. A very rude woman at the front desk told me that was the room and I would have to upgrade for a change! I told her that their website does not say it looks over the HVAC system, but she was not interested. Incredibly rude staff, I'd stay away from this one. The service levels are brutal for a 4 star.

This hotel definitely needs some work on daily cleaning. Bathroom floor and shower walls were not clean. Dirty sock from previous guest under the bed. Extremely noisy vacuum in the hallway was obviously clogged and doing nothing but stirring up dust. Limited furniture (mini fridge just sitting there-not in cabinet) no room in bathroom to set anything. Etc.

However, it was the personalized and attentive service that truly made my stay exceptional. Jason, at the front desk, went above and beyond to accommodate my every need, making me feel like a cherished family member rather than just a guest. His warmth and genuine care for my well-being were evident in every interaction, and I cannot praise him enough for his outstanding hospitality. When I had specific requests, Chelsea, the GM, was immediately responsive and put them into action with professionalism and grace. Her dedication to ensuring my satisfaction and comfort made a significant impact on my overall experience. Her leadership was evident in the entire staff's commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience. The engineer, Serial, was also a pleasure to interact with - polite, professional, and accommodating. He ensured that my room and the entire hotel were maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the hotel's impeccable presentation. I have had the privilege of staying at many hotels, but The Tribute Sarasota Modern Hotel stands out as one of the best. The combination of a stylish, contemporary atmosphere, outstanding amenities, and exceptional service creates an experience that feels more like being welcomed into a warm, inviting family home than checking into a hotel. I must give a special mention to Jack, the skilled and personable bartender, who consistently provided impeccable service throughout my stay. His expertise in mixology was evident as he crafted delicious and inventive cocktails that perfectly complemented the flavors of each dish. Jack's warmth and friendliness made me feel right at home, elevating my overall dining experience and contributing to the hotel's inviting atmosphere. As my time at The Tribute Sarasota Modern Hotel draws to a close, I can honestly say that I don't want to leave. This hotel has exceeded my expectations and redefined what luxury accommodation can be. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone seeking an outstanding hotel experience in Sarasot

Nice hotel and room. 28$ Service fee is steep , also says that you would get a complementary toast with this fee but we didn't see that. But nice and good location.
