Just returned from our first all inclusive experience, and whilst we enjoyed it over all, we won't be returning. A few things to note: Location is good, close to Sarigerme which is good for shopping. The beach is nice enough, but could do with a beach bar, and closer toilet facilities. We stayed in a Suite which overlooked Relax Pool 1. Great size for 2, nice separate lounge area and decent size balcony but bathroom was showing its age and the hairdryer would cut out after 20 seconds which I thought was a fault, but when I reported to reception she said that was normal. By the time the dryer is functional again, your hair will likely be dry from the ambient temp! The fridge was more of a tepid box, didn't chill anything at all. Good little tea and coffee making facilities but could have done with little UHT milk supplies instead of having to cart back a cupful from the restaurant. The hotel is beautiful, reception is vast and the grounds are very well kept. However I was not a fan of the graffiti in the lobby as it brings the standard down. However, having a swap shop type set up with plenty of suncream and toiletries for other guests to benefit from is a nice touch. Discarded inflatables and rubber rings are left around the pool areas for others to adopt and enjoy (just make sure if you take one, it's one that has definitely been abandoned). The staff work incredibly hard round the clock, pool areas are maintained well and the planting scheme is fantastic. However, spa staff in particular can become pests as they sweep through sunbathing guests in number multiple times a day to try and sell expensive spa packages. I did indulge in a head massage and got a face mask "thrown in" but I found some of the head scratching and hair pulling far from therapeutic. Once the face mask was applied, I was lead to the bar area where another member of staff was waiting to sell me further treatments. I was left to sit for a few minutes and then when I asked if I could wash the mask off, I was guided to a sink in the gents toilet and left to wash off, thankfully the toilets were not engaged at the time but I couldn't get out of there quick enough and needless to say I did not purchase further treatments. The food is fantastic and by far one of the hotel's best assets. Great variation from day to day. The chefs are clearly very talented, the desserts are particularly impressive. However, the drinks are filled with ice and although they appear to deliver large alcoholic measures, they're clearly not very strong as I didn't observe one tipsy person the entire week. Didn't matter to me as I don't drink much anyway, but if you're hoping to get merry in the sun, you'll be disappointed. The hotel is unreservedly geared towards families and children and entertainment is brash, a bit naff and relentless. Met some really nice people here but some of the clientele are mouthy and allow their feral children to run wild which I suppose comes with the territory
