Absolutely fantastic motel right across the road from Sarina Beach. ***nor is a superb host running a first class establishment with all the amenities that a couple or family could want for both for a short or long stay.. The suites are very roomy, spotlessly clean with comfortable sleeping and seating arrangements. It was such a delight to find this place and it will now become a permanent place to stay on our annual trips up and down the Queensland coast.. Thank you ***nor.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Sandpiper motel. The rooms were thoughtfully equipped and decorated beautifully with pops of yellow cheerfully brightening the decor. It felt like the owners truly cared. We have stayed in many motels and the Sandpiper is a standout and was a pleasure to stay at.

I stayed in room 12, absolutely spotless. Fantastic bed with fluffy pillows and nice linen. The room had lots of lovely little extras. Opposite a patrolled beach and park. The pool was nice and the manger is very helpful and friendly. I couldn’t fault the place.

After a multi-day drive I checked in with the expectation of "just another model", but this little gem really was exceptional. The rooms were thoughtfully set up with loads of little extras. Right next to the beach, you could not get a better location to go for a long walk to stretch out those driving-cramped legs. Our room had beautiful views, cold air-conditioning, a comfy bed, nice big thoughtfully prepared rooms, and a little balcony. It was really great value.

The SandPiper Motel has been my designated stop whenever travelling north from Brisbane. Then again when returning south. In the morning I use the room's balcony facing the ocean and the rising sun. Once the ocean breezes start to get cool I move to the deck at the back of the room to get the afternoon sun. Then I eat my meal there and watch the amazing sunsets. The people at the Motel a very welcoming and accommodating. I've been staying there for years and it still is a high light of my trips along the Queensland coast. BarryP

We were down the back but walked int a very large space with two double and a single bed, full kitchen and dining table. Opened the double balcony doors and the sea breeze wafted through the place. So you could set up here with the family and kids for a week or two, fill the fridge and your all set. Reasonably priced, a family run business but like a lot places we came across the interior could use a facelift. Saying this though, everything was clean and functional, and any large update would increase the price here making it less desirable for families and less charming. Someone here has taken time and effort into making it feel beachy and colour co-ordinated, the towels were paricularly nice , bright and fluffy. Across the street is the surf lifesaving club with the patrolled beach big signs that turtles lay eggs here ( wish it was when i was there but alas no)

We were happy with our motel choice. The room was clean and comfortable. My husband commented on the comfy bed. Well appointed for a night or more than 1. The staff were very helpful and understanding when we had to cut our stay short. Under cover parking and close to the beach.

We were in Sarina for a 3 day spring cleaning blitz at the home of a relative that’s doing it a bit tough. We came back to the motel exhausted at night. My husband felt that despite the toil, a stay at the Sandpiper Motel still made our trip feel like a holiday. Our room was spacious, beautifully presented and immaculately clean. The room also contains a well fitted out kitchen with more than the basic appliances crockery and cutlery that is normally found in a motel. Plenty of fridge space. Dining table and chairs rather than the standard bench found in lots of places. A full size sink. Plenty of detergent. A vast array of toiletry products in the bathroom, including disposable razor and toothbrush. Linen of high quality with the colour pallet complementing the decor. Lovely views of the beach and the water from both the front and rear balconies of our room. Wonderfully comfy bed with lots of spare pillows. Everything you could possibly need is here. Just terrific. Service Station next door has extended hours and an extensive breakfast, lunch and evening meal menu. A bit pricy, but great quality and huge meal portions
